In one video, Reesa started a new series where she would tell her story. The story was about how she met, dated, married, and divorced a pathological liar. She noted that she wouldn't be using real names because she does not have their permission to do that. She also does not want any litigation.

Reesa said she would be honest even though it makes her look bad. Additionally, she would not disrespect those involved. Reesa noted that it was a traumatic experience, but she is sarcastic and has a sense of humor. She would laugh at some things even though it's not funny, and if she cries, that's because she's human and a woman.

She said everything she said could be verified as people in her life could attest to them. She noted that she has also cut off all communication with James. They also do not have mutual friends. She does not want to hear from him. She described herself as a regular woman who thought she met "the one," but she did not.

Reesa was a psychology major in her undergraduate days. She did not graduate with that degree but explained the differences between a compulsive and a pathological liar. She said many people have met compulsive liars. But a pathological liar has no reason for why they lie, and there's no limit to their lies.

She described James as a narcissist, and her time with him was a crazy ride. Reesa told her followers that if they thought it was crazy, they should imagine how she felt as a person who lived it and had no idea what she was dealing with.

On her way to their first date, her tire blew on 285 just before Boulder Crest. In retrospect, she said this was a sign, but she didn't listen. They were supposed to meet at a restaurant, but because her tire was bad, he met her at a gas station. James fixed her tire, took her to get another tire, and paid for it. His gesture made her think it would be the beginning of a beautiful and romantic relationship. Sadly, she was wrong.

She then recounted some of the lies he had told her in another video. Every morning, James would get on the phone with his brother, John. During the conversation, he would relay messages back and forth between Reesa and John. However, she did not speak with John on the phone.

But James always told John he couldn't wait for the lockdown to be over so he and Reesa would visit John. Seeing as their parents were deceased, he would tell John that he couldn't wait for their aunt to meet Reesa. James would tell John how he wanted to marry Reesa. He said everything Reesa wanted to hear.

He would also talk to his friends every day. She saw and heard him have normal conversations on the phone and did not think anything of it. However, she discovered the truth when she kicked him out of her house in June 2021. Reesa found out that he had made up every single phone call.

The phone call he made to pay his car off was a lie. The one to the realtor when they were looking at houses was a lie. Also, the one to the bank for them to release the money for the house he signed his name for was made up. James and his brother had not spoken to each other since 2015 when their mother died. He had no friends and constantly lied.

The second lie was about his job. When they initially met, he told Reesa he was a Vice President at his company. It was a major condiment company. He said he had been transferred from California to Georgia. James told her he was in the process of getting settled and was looking to buy a house.

On a side note, she said he paid every bill at her little townhouse where they were quarantined. He also gave her spending money and called her every day from work. However, she later discovered that he was a temp forklift driver.

Reesa said when James would call, he sometimes pretended to reprimand employees who couldn't see that he had his Bluetooth on and was on a call. He pretended to take calls from the company's president, who needed something from him.

James even forged emails from the company's president to show her. The emails would be about work and the projects they needed to get done. Reesa said how brilliant he was and how much energy he put into this lie was scary.

His third lie was about housing. James told Reesa he was looking to buy a house, and they started looking at houses together. Reesa saw a beautiful five-bedroom and six-bathroom house in Smyrna, Georgia, and fell in love with it.

It was a brand new construction build listed for $699,000. James showed her paperwork from the bank saying he was approved for a mortgage for $750,000. Reesa watched as he put in an all-cash offer on the house. He signed his name to a legally binding document for an all-cash offer.

The house fell through because the builder did not want to finish the basement. She and James requested that the builder finish it. The builder declined their offer and went with another couple. The couple the builder went with was okay with having an unfinished basement.

Looking back, Reesa said God's grace protected them both. As she was not his wife then, her name was not on the mortgage for that home. Otherwise, the legal repercussions would have been something else.

His fourth lie had to do with them having a baby. Reesa got pregnant, lost the baby, and had to be evacuated. When she was in the hospital, the doctor called to inform him that she would be released in an hour and a half. James picked up the call and pretended to be his own executive assistant, David.

David said James, her ex-husband, was in a board meeting but wanted to know how he could help the doctor. The doctor told David to inform James that Reesa would be ready to be picked up soon. This was during the lockdown, and hospitals were still strict on who had access to their premises.

David told the doctor James would be done with his board meeting in 30 minutes and be on his way. Reesa ended up waiting at the hospital for 3 hours instead of being there for one and a half hours. She had waited that long because James couldn't get off work as his shift was not over, but she didn't know this then.

People who watched her videos had so many reactions. They wrote, "When you said he was a temp forklift driver I audibly gasped," "Was his name Reggie Myers because this is similar to someone I dated. Everything he told me was a lie. He was VERY believable," "The fact you have no kids with Legion!!!! I am grateful for you," "I'm scared of him omg," and more.

In her other video, they commented, "I think Jill Scott should play you in the Netflix movie, "I dated a pathological liar. It only lasted 2 months. Everything he said was a lie and it was for no reason. Girl I understand," "While this may be entertainment for us, I pray that this series brings you some kind of peace ❤️❤️," "No mutual friends because his were ALL imaginary 😳," and more.

Reesa revealed that she now had post-traumatic stress disorder. She blames herself for his actions and how she entertained them. She noted that she did not pray, trust herself, or pay attention to the "United Nations of Red Flags." Now, she is paying the consequences for what had happened.

She disclosed, "I was desperate. I wanted to be married. I wanted a family. And I thought it was my turn. And instead, I got pulled into something my brain could not even comprehend." Surprisingly, she said this was only five percent of the story.

Due to popular demand, her series has over 40 parts, and her stories went viral. What would you do if you were in her shoes? Do you think it is right for her to blame herself for her ex-husband's actions?
