"Perfect woman and husband," wrote one user. Another penned, "What a beautiful family so blessed." One person gushed, "They are a Very Sweet Couple!! He Truly Loves his Lady and vice versa!!" Meanwhile, someone else called Terry a role model, writing, "One of the best, if not, THE BEST male role models in Hollywood."

The social media upload comes after Terry appeared on "Today with Hoda and Jenna" on June 10, 2024. He was joined by Rebecca, and together, they discussed his career success and family. The couple wed in July 1989 and have been married for thirty-five years.

They share four daughters, Tera, Azriel, Wynfrey, and Naomi, and son, Isaiah, who is the youngest. During the interview, Terry candidly talked about Rebecca's selflessness, revealing she gave up her dreams so they could pursue theirs.

At the time, Rebecca was singing and acting but decided to put all of that on hold so they could all get a head start on what they wanted to do.

Now that Terry has attained success and the kids are all grown up and doing their own thing, Rebecca decided to start chasing her dreams again.

Reflecting on how much the kids have grown, Rebecca got emotional, sharing that their son is about to leave home for college. "It’s like the end of an era a little bit. But I’m so proud of all of them. They’re all just amazing people. Beautiful people. I’m proud of that," said the doting mom.

Rebecca explained that giving up everything started with her first child. She chose to commit herself to motherhood instead of trying to balance everything else with her career.

The Michigan native later committed herself to marriage with Terry and decided to stay put. It was only ten years ago that she started to do her own thing again when their children got older. "So, I don’t regret it," the mother of five admitted.

Terry recounted their early life together in a June 2015 interview, praising Rebecca for showing him how to be a good father. "I spent years being the 'Fun Dad' to my five children, but they always seemed to respect their mother more. It turns out that they needed more than just my love," he expressed.

Terry has embraced fatherhood since he was twenty. The journey began in 1989 when he married Rebecca, who had a two-year-old daughter, Naomi. After meeting her at eighteen, they quickly formed a deep bond and chose to spend their lives together.

The couple, now grandparents to Naomi's daughter, Miley Crews, support their children in any path they choose. Terry emphasized that true success lies in family, not career milestones.

"The movies and all the things I’ve done? They’re not my legacy. It’s really my son, and my daughters, and my family. That’s the legacy," he said.

While Terry and Rebecca are proud to show off their family, their journey together has not been easy. They have gone through trials and tribulations yet they remain joined at the hip, supporting each other.

Being a person in show business is hard, so people applaud celebrity couples who can balance their careers and marriage altogether. Thankfully, Terry and Rebecca are one of those few couples. Although their union has not been smooth sailing, the lovebirds have overcome the many ups and downs they have faced.

Terry and Rebecca first crossed paths in the 80s. At the time, the latter had just become Miss Gary Indiana and went to Western Michigan University to pursue a music and theatre career, while Terry was a footballer at the same school.

According to Rebecca, it was not love at first sight. During an interview once, the actor's wife explained that at the beginning, she and her husband were only friends, and it almost remained that way. She said, "He almost got stuck in the friend zone. He was a little too nice."

However, after a while, the sparks began to fly, and the couple soon started dating. By 1990, Terry and Rebecca had exchanged wedding vows. That same year, they expanded their family with the arrival of their first child, Azriel.

Over thirty years later, the "America's Got Talent" host and his wife are doting parents. Here are more details about their inspiring relationship.

Terry and Rebecca have gone through a lot over the time they have been together. From changes in careers to watching their kids grow up and losing their homes; to dealing with depression.

However, one difficulty that nearly tore their marriage apart was the former NFL player's addiction to adult content. In a May 2021 interview, Terry made it known that being a celebrity made his addiction worse.

According to the "Everybody Hates Chris" star, success was the warmest place to hide, and Hollywood did not care. Terry noted that he battled the addiction in secret for the longest time, and it slowly ate him up.

He divulged, "It became a thing where I didn't tell anybody. It was my secret, nobody knew, and that allowed it to grow, and it got bad. If day turns into night and you are still watching, you probably got a problem, and that was me. I didn't tell my wife, didn't tell my friends, nobody knew."

But in 2010, he opened up to his wife about his addiction to adult content. Terry also had something else to come clean about — his infidelity.

Rebecca had already sensed that the actor was keeping secrets from her, but knowing what her husband had done was so heartbreaking that it nearly cost them their marriage.

She confronted Terry following the revelation and threatened to leave. At that point, the movie star knew he needed to get help so he made conscious efforts to save his marriage.

Terry promised Rebecca he would attend therapy and go to rehab for his addiction. Thankfully, his time in rehab was worth it, as it made him a changed man.

Years later, Terry would reveal that he was thankful for his decision, despite contrary advice from his friends. According to the icon, his single pals had advised him to quit his marriage, but in due time, he understood that their advice was from the point of jealousy.

After opting not to give up on their union, Terry and Rebecca, who are intentional parents thought of expanding their family. Despite already having a big family, the couple does not mind welcoming a sixth child through adoption.

Rebecca revealed in a 2016 interview that adoption was a topic she and Terry had discussed when they first married. According to her, it was something she always felt called to do, and he could not agree any less.

Terry noted that he had always felt they needed to be ready before adopting, but in the end, no one is "ever ready." To the couple, they will have to go for it.

As long as they have each other, they can weather any storm, as they have always done in the past. Speaking of having each other's backs, Terry could not be more grateful for having Rebecca as a wife.

She has been with him, even during his darkest times, and he feels blessed. Terry once shared that there was nothing like "having someone who knows you in and out, all the stuff, and loves you anyway." Ultimately, considering everything they had been through together, he expressed that Rebecca was "his rock."

Since Terry became a changed man, he has shown his spouse how much he loves, cares, and is willing to do anything for her. He again proved his love in 2020 when Rebecca was diagnosed with stage one breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy.

During that trying period, the TV star did everything possible to make life easier and better for his wife. Terry confessed that he had been the one washing Rebecca's hair, taking care of her, making dinner, doing the laundry, and cleaning the house.

Despite how tedious it might have been, the actor said he was thankful for being able to do all that. According to him, what was most important to him was that Rebecca was alive.

Two years later, the former NFL player's wife is still alive and is a hundred percent cancer-free. She and Terry are also happier and stronger than ever.

Seeing everything that the couple has been through, Rebecca is still thankful. She said her husband is different and sees him as the softer, gentler, and kinder version of himself.
