After the LAFD responded to the housekeeper's call, Simmons' body was removed from his home. The LA County medical examiner arrived to examine the scene. They later confirmed that there were no signs of foul play.

According to TMZ, an autopsy has been completed, but the cause of death is "pending toxicology test results." This will help determine if Simmons' dizziness and fall were directly related to his death.
