Mick Jagger's love life has dominated headlines for years, marked by his relationships with various women, including instances of infidelity. He has experienced multiple losses, and one of the women he dated honored him in the most touching way.

Jagger is a successful world-famous English singer whose personal life has been marred by his wild ways. His eyebrow-raising romantic life has captured the public's attention through the years, but it was not without devastating tragedies.

One of those high-profile relationships included him and fellow rock singer, Marianne Faithfull. The pair started dating in December 1966 after he attempted to woo her once or twice before.

The next year, the two partied together at Jagger's bandmate, Keith Richards's place. The police raided the property for drugs, which they discovered upstairs. Consequently, Jagger and Richards were arrested and went through a trial. However, they did not do prison time, as the verdict was later overturned.

By the summer of 1967, Faithfull claimed that she and The Rolling Stones frontman were "blissfully happy." She said they were "young, rich, protected, and the world was at our feet."

The "As Tears Go By" hitmaker later noted that their "fantasies of taking over the world seemed to be coming true." Faithfull stopped singing and focused on acting in theatre, while Jagger toyed with the idea of running for Parliament.

In 1968, the couple found out that Faithfull was pregnant. Interestingly, she was still married to British artist John Dunbar at the time. Yet that did not discourage her from bragging about becoming a mom.

She admitted to being very thrilled about the pregnancy while noting that she did not want to marry the father of her unborn child. "I don't want to be married to him. I don't want to be married at all," Faithfull said in an interview.

Sadly, in November of that year, she suffered a miscarriage while she was eight months pregnant. In her autobiography, Faithfull revealed she lost the baby after returning from Ireland and disclosed what led to the pregnancy loss.

"I was too anemic for the baby to come to term. I felt devastated and guilty and it took me ages before I could even begin to grapple with my feelings about it," the rock star expressed. After losing their child, whom they named Corrina, Faithfull turned to drugs and alcohol, while Jagger immersed himself in work.

In 1969, she took sedative-hypnotic drugs while the pair were in Sydney, Australia to film "Ned Kelly" together. Jagger reportedly woke up in their hotel room only to find his partner lying bedside an empty bottle of sleeping pills.

Faithfull was rushed to the hospital, where she slipped into a coma. Jagger remained by her side during that time and they remained a couple for a little over a year.

After his relationship with Faithfull fell apart, Jagger started dating his future wife, Bianca Perez Morena de Macias (née Jagger). The lovebirds were instantly smitten with each other from the day they crossed paths at a September 1970 Stones concert.

Only months into their whirlwind romance, they started talking about tying the knot. The couple finally wed in May 1971 in a ceremony the former actress later deemed disastrous.

She was 26 then while the songwriter was 27. During their wedding reception, the groom frolicked on stage with friends while his newly wedded bride returned to their honeymoon suite alone.

"My marriage was over on the wedding day," the Nicaraguan native admitted in an interview. Even so, she and her husband welcomed a daughter together in October of that year.

However, both the newlyweds were barely home for different reasons after getting hitched. While The Rolling Stones's lead singer had a hectic work schedule and was constantly on the road touring and recording, his wife was out partying.

Moreover, reports revealed in 1976 that the couple had started courting other people during their marriage. But the social activist insisted that they were all good friends.

By 1977, the Jaggers' union crumbled as the "Paint It, Black" singer had met American model, Jerry Hall, and was besotted with her. His then-estranged wife filed for divorce in May 1978 and became a human rights activist.

She was then romantically linked to British actor Rupert Everett and later dated New Jersey congressman, Robert Torricelli. While the mother of one never remarried, her former spouse tried his luck at marriage again with Hall.

The pair first met backstage at a Rolling Stones concert when Hall was 20 years old. While he was still a married man then, she was in a relationship with Roxy Music singer Bryan Ferry.

However, Jagger and Hall's romantic relationship only blossomed at a later stage after they attended a New York dinner together. They then welcomed two kids together and later got married in 1990.

After having two more kids, their marriage went downhill due to Jagger's alleged infidelities. In 1998, reports revealed that a Brazilian model, Luciana Morad, was pregnant with the rocker's child. A paternity test later proved that he had fathered a son.

As a result, Hall filed for divorce in January 1999. Interestingly enough, their marriage was ruled null and void at the High Court in London. The former couple had wed in Bali but their union was deemed invalid in Indonesia and under English law.

That said, a decree of nullity was granted to the actress. Their lawyers stated they would continue being friends and that a "mutually acceptable legal and financial settlement" had been reached. Despite the annulment, Hall and Jagger vowed to remain devoted parents to their four children.

After his time together with Hall, Jagger did not slow down and began another long-term relationship with yet another public figure. In 2001, he met fashion designer, L'Wren Scott, at a photoshoot.

The duo later started dating and even attended a fashion show in Paris together. Five years into their relationship, Scott launched her own label with his support. This led to her being labeled solely because of her relations with the musician.

It frustrated her to be constantly referred to as Jagger's girlfriend, but she reportedly never bad-mouthed him. Scott was her own woman and was uninterested in being only acknowledged as the rock 'n' roll singer's lover.

She not only designed his on-stage outfits but also dressed some of Hollywood's A-list stars, including Nicole Kidman, Renée Zellweger, and Sarah Jessica Parker.

She was known for her caring heart and consideration for others. Sadly, her tragic death at age 49 in March 2014 left those who knew her in great shock.

On the day she took her own life, Scott texted her assistant, Brittany Penebre, at 8:30 a.m., asking her to stop by her home. By the time Penebre arrived at 10:00 a.m., she found the model deceased on the floor after hanging herself.

She called the paramedics who could not resuscitate Scott. In the wake of her shocking demise, friends were left reeling, especially because no one saw it coming.

The stylist had just returned from a holiday in Mustique and the evening before she died, she hosted a dinner for close pals. They were reportedly worried about her as she seemed down and slightly troubled.

Yet they never could have predicted what would happen hours later, in the same apartment she had invited them. At the time, Scott's longtime boyfriend Jagger, with whom she shared two homes in Paris and London, was on tour in Australia.

He issued a statement after hearing the sad news, stating that he was "still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way."

The Utah native did not leave a note, and some speculated that financial woes could be the reason why she ended her life. She was cremated and her remains were divided between her family and Jagger.

While the deceased's brother, Randall Bambrough, revealed her ashes would be buried alongside their parents' graves in Utah, he said he was uncertain what Jagger would do with them.

Scott's last wishes included Jagger being in charge of the funeral arrangements. Moreover, Bambrough disclosed that he was not privy to details of his late sister's will.

Scott's personal estate was estimated to be $9 million and her main asset was her Chelsea condo worth $8 million. The designer's will was a final testament of love to her longtime significant other, Jagger.

Five years after her tragic death, the award-winning singer remembered his love in an Instagram post. Jagger paid tribute to Scott on what would have been her 54th birthday alongside a picture of her beaming. "Happy birthday L'Wren," he penned.

After losing Scott, Jagger has since moved on and is currently in another long-term relationship. He met former ballerina, Melanie Hamrick, in 2014 and they welcomed a son named Deveraux Octavian Basil, two years later in 2016.

Following 16 years as a member of the corps de ballet, Hamrick announced her retirement from the American Ballet Theatre in 2019. Three years later in December 2022, she celebrated the couple's son's birthday on Instagram. He is now seven years old.

In 2023, she flaunted a diamond ring, sparking engagement rumors. However, she set the record straight in an interview, saying that it was a gift from her beloved, noting that it did not mean they would get married anytime soon.

For Hamrick, it is a promise ring. When asked if she sees herself walking down the aisle, she said, "I don’t know. I'm kind of like, a live-in-the-moment type of person, so who knows."

Hamrick is 44 years younger than Mick Jagger, who recently turned 81. She paid a birthday tribute to him on Instagram, writing, "Happy birthday babe!! We love you."
