Another fan added a nostalgic touch, "She looks great but I won't lie I miss how she looked ... I can't tell what all she changed ... again still beautiful no negativity I just grew up watching her so change is hard lol 😆."
The conversation about Underwood's teeth isn't entirely new. Back in 2017, the singer suffered a serious accident when she fell down the steps outside her home, breaking her wrist and sustaining facial injuries.

While rumors swirled about major reconstructive surgery, Underwood downplayed the extent of the damage. In an interview, she revealed that, despite fears of severe facial trauma, her dental checkup showed only a chipped tooth, which was quickly repaired.
In a past interview with Women's Health, Underwood opened up about her dental journey. She explained that she had braces as a teenager, but like many people, she stopped wearing her retainer, which led to her teeth shifting over time.
Later in life, she decided to correct the issue, telling the magazine, "I eventually went to an orthodontist because I had one tooth that was driving me crazy... It's such a little thing, but it's only gonna get worse, so let's fix it now."

She mentioned that the issue was resolved in three months, during which she continued making public appearances, including walking red carpets, without anyone knowing she was wearing braces.

Underwood's latest Instagram post may have sparked a debate about her appearance, but it's a reminder of the intense scrutiny that celebrities often face. It's not the first time this year that internet users noticed a transformation in her appearance.
Underwood's collage photo back in June stirred the online community as they showed her transformation. The picture showcased a striking difference in her appearance with and without makeup.
The collage comparison left fans in awe and sparked a lively debate about her natural beauty versus her glamorous, made-up look. In the photos where Underwood is fully made up, her transformation is nothing short of breathtaking.
With expertly applied makeup, her cheekbones appear beautifully contoured, giving her face a sculpted look. Her nose seems slimmer, enhancing the overall symmetry of her features.
The makeup accentuates her lips, making them appear fuller and more luscious, while her cheeks are raised, adding to her youthful and vibrant appearance.
Carrie Underwood's eyes stand out with an intriguing depth, framed by magnificent eyebrows that perfectly shape her face. Her chin looks short and narrow, contributing to a delicate and refined look that dazzles her fans.
Without makeup, Underwood's face reveals a softer, more natural side. Her skin exhibits a minimal natural glow and her cheeks appear puffed, lacking the sharp contours seen with makeup.
Her lips look thinner, and her chin appears rounder and wider, contrasting with the narrow chin seen in her glamorous shots. Fine lines under her eyes add a touch of maturity, and her cheeks do not have the same lifted appearance.
The stark contrast between Underwood's made-up and natural looks did not go unnoticed by her fans, who took to social media to express their thoughts. One user commented, "Not the same person," reflecting the disbelief many felt.
Another added, "Not her totally different person," emphasizing the transformation's dramatic nature. Observing the differences in her facial features, a user noted, "Not same person facial features too different. Narrow vs wide chin. Easy to see."
Some users focused on specific aspects, with one stating, "Nose is different." Despite the huge differences some fans found that Underwood's natural face still holds an endearing.
One fan wrote, "Beautiful with or without it." Another supportive fan added, "Still a pretty gal, clean face and all," highlighting the enduring charm of her natural look.
Reflecting on her past, a user shared, "It's definitely Carrie Underwood in both pictures. I remember her from American Idol when she was young, and that's what she looks like," providing a sense of continuity in her appearance over the years.
However, some fans speculated about potential cosmetic procedures, with one remarking, "She doesn't look like herself. Musta had surgery."
Underwood is aware that going makeup-free can be an occupational hazard for her. The country singer has also previously shared insights into her beauty routine and the role makeup plays in her life.
She revealed that she does her own hair and makeup while on tour, finding joy in getting glammed up even off the red carpet.

Having started wearing makeup at a young age, the "Cry Pretty" crooner felt that it gave her ample time to hone her skills. Still, she revealed that if she had a daughter, she would have encouraged her to wait a bit longer before diving into makeup.
But, for her, wearing makeup at a young age was a much-needed learning experience. Consequently, Underwood's beauty routine during tours has become precious "me" time. It's therapeutic for her to sit down with her makeup kit and do her makeup in silence amidst the busyness of tour life.

Even on days when she isn't performing, the singer rarely goes without at least some mascara and blush. "I don't think I ever have makeup-free days, to be honest. I wear makeup for me. I don't want to walk by a mirror and feel like I haven't given some sort of effort. I just feel better when I have a little on," she confessed.

Furthermore, living in Nashville, Underwood faces the constant presence of photographers. Even quick trips to the grocery store can turn into impromptu photo sessions, making her prefer to wear some makeup as going makeup-free is not great for her professional reputation.

This approach Underwood takes helps her feel more prepared and confident, knowing that she can be photographed at any moment. For instance, Underwood previously sparked a flurry of reactions on social media after sharing photos from a night out in Las Vegas.
The singer, who is currently performing in her "Reflection" residency at Resorts World Theatre, posted several images on Instagram attending rapper Ludacris's performance in Zouk.

In one of the five photos, Underwood sported a black Guns N' Roses shirt, leggings, stylish leather boots, and a yellow cap reading "WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE," showcasing her rockstar aesthetics. Her all-black ensemble elicited mixed reactions from her followers.
One user expressed dismay over Underwood's new look, "What happened to Country Carrie??!! So sad." Another observed, "She looks totally different...not just clothes, but facial features."
A surprised fan asked, "Wow - who is that? She's not country." Others were similarly shocked, exclaiming, "Is that Carrie????? looks different." Another added, "She def looks alot different than she used to."

While some fans may not be accustomed to Underwood's evolving style, the singer herself has been open about updating her wardrobe, especially during her concerts.
For Underwood's Las Vegas residency, stylist Emma Trask curated the singer's wardrobe, which includes iridescent jumpsuits, neon wardrobes, liquid-like gowns, and double denim outfits.

Underwood highlighted the consistency of her performances in terms of song selection while emphasizing the importance of refreshing the show's wardrobe to keep it dynamic and enjoyable.
"A lot of the looks are created just by adding or taking away pieces, not necessarily full costume changes each time," Underwood said. With her evolving styles, she once revealed who her style icon was.
In a 2011 interview, Underwood mentioned that actress Reese Witherspoon is her fashion icon. She appreciated the star's approachable style and noted their similar body types and fashion preferences.

Despite varied public opinions, Underwood remains positive and resilient. She shared her reflections in 2013, "Negative people are negative because THEY 'can't' & are insanely jealous of those who 'can.' So be positive & show the world that you WILL!"
As Underwood's evolving style continues to make a splash at her latest Las Vegas shows, it also sparked pregnancy discussions among fans. Last February, she announced on Instagram the start of ticket sales for her first shows in 2024.
She accompanied the news with a photo of herself wearing a short silver jumpsuit in which she displayed a slight belly. This snap did not go unnoticed by fans.
"She is beautiful. Carrie looks like a baby might be..." commented a fan. "I was thinking the same thing," another replied. "Baby bump?!?!" asked a user.
Fans supported Underwood in the comments, complimenting her beauty and speculating about her possible pregnancy. "I have baby vibes! You are so beautiful Carrie," said a commenter.
At 40 years old, the singer is already a full-time mom to her two sons — Isaiah and Jacob Fisher. She is happily married to former NHL player Mike Fisher, the father of the kids.

Reflecting on motherhood, Underwood shared, "There is a thing about motherhood that makes you feel like, 'Okay, if I can do that, I can do anything.'" She added, "And I feel like I'm a little older, a little wiser. This isn't my first rodeo."

Despite her busy life, Underwood dreams of expanding her family. As a devoted daughter, mother, and Christian, she is considering adopting children once her biological kids are a bit older.
"We may have missed our chance to have a big family. We always talk about adoption and about doing it when our child or children are a little older. In the meantime, we're lucky to be a part of organizations that help kids," she said in the interview.

Underwood has been an unwavering supporter of the Save the Children Fund, an organization dedicated to aiding the one in five children facing poverty in the United States. Back in 2010, a portion of the proceeds from every ticket sold for her shows went directly to this foundation.
The singer recognizes how privileged she is and makes sure not to take things for granted. With her family by her side and an amazing career in front of her, Underwood can’t be anything but grateful for what she has.

"I get to do what I love, I have an incredible family. I have Mike, I have Isaiah, I have great parents. I have all of these amazing people around me, and I don't want to complain, ever," Underwood shared in the interview.
