The desperate pleas for help. The blood. The blurred flash of a muzzle in the night. A new development in the tragic murder case of 21-year-old transgender TikTok sensation Girlalala, born Maurice Harrison, has surfaced.

According to a TMZ report, the beloved social media star's longtime boyfriend, Shanoyd Whyte Jr., 25, made a frantic call to 911 after shooting and killing her inside a car parked in a residential Lauderdale Lakes neighborhood driveway.

Blood-Soaked Passenger Seat and a Holstered Handgun: The Scene That Greeted Deputies

According to the official arrest warrant obtained by TMZ, the events that unfolded the night Harrison was killed are as harrowing as they are heartbreaking. After the incident, Whyte Jr. made the call, and authorities say he even flagged down deputies as they arrived on the scene, where they were immediately met with a chilling sight.

Deputies noted a heavy saturation of blood on the vehicle's front passenger seat — the area where Harrison had been sitting. Blood had also pooled onto the floorboard and trailed outside the open passenger door, where first responders had left behind medical debris.

Inside the car, a holstered handgun was discovered tucked behind the front passenger seat, while two spent 9mm shell casings were collected nearby. Surveillance footage from the area revealed even more disturbing details. Just moments before the shooting, Whyte Jr.'s vehicle was captured pulling into the driveway.

Both front doors briefly opened before the driver's side reopened again. According to the footage, Whyte Jr. is seen pulling a firearm from his waistband and firing into the passenger seat — the flash of the muzzle caught on camera.

Harrison, moments later, appears slumped over. The footage then shows Whyte Jr. walking around to the other side of the car, gun still in hand, and pulling her upright by her hair.

Local residents told investigators they heard two gunshots that Friday night, November 14, 2025. Deputies later confirmed that Harrison had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency crews in Broward County received a medical call around 7 p.m. from a home in the 3300 block of Northwest 37th Street.

'I Need Help!': Audio of Whyte Jr.'s Desperate 911 Call Released

In the moments following the shooting, Whyte Jr. placed the call to 911 — audio of which was released in a TMZ exclusive. His voice was panicked, unsteady, and at times barely coherent. "Please! Hello?" Whyte Jr. shouted, to which a responder replied, "911, what's your emergency?" "I need help! Please, I need help!" Whyte Jr. then retorted.

After the 911 dispatcher requested the location and asked if he could hear him, Whyte Jr. pleaded, "Yes, I don't know the address, but just check. Just check, please."

After the responder confirmed that Whyte Jr. was at a house, and asked him to explain what had happened, Whyte Jr. continued to beg for urgency, "Get here. Hurry up and get here. Who's calling me? Hurry up and get here!"

The dispatcher had repeatedly urged Whyte Jr. to stay on the line, assuring him help was on the way as his voice faded in and out. "Me and you talking is not delaying them. Stay on the phone with me [sic]," the responder said. Shortly after, a disconnect tone is heard, and the call ends.

The disturbing audio adds another layer of heartbreak to an already devastating case — one that has now entered the criminal justice system, as Whyte Jr. faces a serious charge and Harrison's loved ones begin to grapple with the unbearable weight of their loss.

Detectives from the Homicide and Crimes units immediately launched a painstaking investigation and took Whyte Jr. into custody.

A Volatile Relationship Laid Bare

Reports reveal that the victim and the suspect had been romantically involved for years. But what began as a verbal argument in the car spiraled into a physical confrontation, and at some point inside that vehicle, Harrison was shot.

Friends of Harrison told WPLG Local 10 that although the pair had been together for quite some time, their relationship had always been volatile.

But in a heartbreaking twist, those same friends turned over a key piece of evidence. They had provided investigators with the Tesla door camera video, which allegedly captured the influencer's last moments in haunting clarity.

Surveillance footage shared by NBC News shows Whyte Jr. exiting the car with a weapon in his hand. Harrison, reportedly in the passenger seat, appears to be trying to get out, though the suspect is then seen pushing her back into the vehicle.

Whyte Jr. now sits inside the Broward Sheriff's Office main jail on a no-bond hold, facing a charge of first-degree murder.

A Family Drowning in Grief

Harrison's family, too overwhelmed with grief to speak publicly, released a short but deeply emotional statement to the press:

"As a family, we appreciate every prayer, kind thought, and gesture during our time of bereavement. Now, we are just praying that justice is served to the fullest degree."

The heartbreak compounds an already devastating year for the family, as they are still mourning the loss of Harrison's brother, who was killed as a result of gun violence just last year (2024).

Anyone hoping to help with memorial arrangements can go to the GoFundMe created in Harrison's honor. The campaign reads:

"Once we finalize arrangements we will also share how you can contribute to the funeral home directly also [sic]. Thank you."

As of this writing, the fundraiser has surpassed its goal of $25,000, with $28,862 raised from 945 donations. The website states that services are scheduled for December 6.

Mourned By Another Star

One especially tender tribute came from artist JT, who shared a video highlighting Harrison's sharp rapping talent and penned a moving caption.

"Rest beautiful [sic] girlala! We love you & Heaven will never be boring now that you are there, your boldness, energy, humor & beauty will be missed!" the singer wrote. "You never missed a chance to show me love & for that I'm forever grateful."

The tribute continued with a powerful message about how society treats violence against transgender women and Black women:

"We have to stop thinking things are funny because of the way the story is told! If you see content about DV don't laugh because it's a trans or black woman. We have a way of laughing through our pain because we have been shaped to be taken as jokes!"

Her post's comments section is now also filled with both mourning and grateful messages, as the artist showed Harrison tons of support and was an ally to the community.

We extend our deepest condolences to Harrison's grieving family, friends, and countless followers who are mourning this heartbreaking loss. We also hope for their healing amid their grief. RIP, dear Harrison.
