Tylor Chase, once known for his role on "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide," has been spotted living rough on the streets of Riverside, California — a jarring contrast from his early days as a Nickelodeon fan favourite.

The tragic discovery was first made public in August when TikTok creator LetHallAlli shared a gut-wrenching post showing Chase's transformation from rising TV actor to an unhoused man standing beside a dumpster. Wearing a black T-shirt, white cropped pants, and worn-out grey trainers, the former child star looked almost unrecognizable.

The post, titled "Remember him from Ned's Declassified?" went instantly viral, amassing millions of views and igniting a wave of concern from nostalgic fans and strangers alike.

Social Media Steps In — Then Gets Pulled Back

In response to the overwhelming reaction, LetHallAlli, who has now set her account to private, created a GoFundMe campaign to help Chase get back on his feet. In follow-up videos, she shared heartwarming clips of him freshly showered and dressed in clean clothes, thanking donors for their support.

"Got Tylor Chase dressed up today. Showered him up and all 🙏 thank you for the donations he's so appreciative 🥺," she wrote in one update.

But just days later, the campaign abruptly vanished. According to LetHallAlli, Chase's mother requested the fundraiser be taken down, expressing deep concern for her son's ability to manage money or medications independently.

"He can't manage money or his meds by himself. It could possibly hurt him," she said. "He does need medical help."

Former Cast Members Break Their Silence

Chase's heartbreaking situation quickly reached his former "Ned's Declassified" co-stars Devon Werkheiser and Daniel Curtis Lee, who addressed the viral videos during an October episode of their "Ned's Declassified Podcast Survival Guide."

The two praised LetHallAlli's efforts and shared their own concern, calling the situation heartbreaking. But as the GoFundMe faded from public view, so too did updates about Chase — until now.

A New Video Renews Concern — and Hope

On Monday, a new video surfaced on social media showing Chase still living unhoused, dressed in oversized, ripped jeans and a worn Las Vegas Raiders polo, his hair now longer and disheveled. The heartbreaking clip shattered any hope that his circumstances had improved.

Others turned their outrage toward the industry itself. "This is what Hollywood does to children," one fan fumed. "Show business just chews 'em up and spits them out — so sad, man 🥺," another agreed.

"Nickelodeon sadly messed him up 💔 😢," a third lamented. "Seeing one of your favorite actors like this really hurts."

Shaun Weiss Offers a Lifeline

The viral footage eventually reached actor-comedian Shaun Weiss, known for his own battle with addiction and homelessness after starring in "The Mighty Ducks." Now in recovery, Weiss has become a passionate advocate for vulnerable individuals — and this time, he stepped in to help.

Speaking with TMZ, Weiss revealed that he'd secured a bed for Chase at Eleven 11 Recovery, a sober living facility in San Clemente, California. He offered to sponsor Chase through the program, including up to a full year of housing.

He said he welcome to start on scholarship, and also urged anyone with contact info for Chase to direct message him immediately.

Found Again — and Surrounded by Support

On Tuesday, 23 December, Jacob Harris, a local content creator and California resident, managed to track Chase down at another Riverside spot where he had previously encountered him.

In a powerful update, Harris shared:

"Found him. Sat with him for an hour while his father and multiple co-stars called him on my phone."

According to Harris, the heartfelt calls were filled with love, support, and pleas for Chase to accept help.

"He's now in contact with all the right people to get him the help he needs. He has a hotel room tonight to give him time to make the decision on his own," he added.

Authorities Have Been Monitoring for Months

As the world now watches with bated breath, Riverside authorities say Chase hasn't been forgotten. TMZ spoke with Public Information Officer Ryan Railsback of the Riverside Police Department, who explained that Chase has long been on their radar.

According to Railsback, police have made countless offers to help Chase — but he continues to turn them down. And while some unhoused individuals react with hostility, officers noted that Chase has always remained cooperative and cordial during interactions.

In one of Harris's most recent updates, he revealed Chase was well-rested and in good spirits after receiving temporary support.

"The city of Riverside provided transportation and a facility that will help him. Unfortunately he wasn't quite ready to go this morning," Harris said.

But there's progress, as Harris added, "The city now has Tyler's dad's phone number and will be on top of getting him help. A close friend is flying in today to speak with him. The process has been started 🙏."

A Cautionary Tale — and a Second Chance

For many, Chase's story is a painful reminder of how child stars can slip through the cracks — even after fame, even after the cameras stop rolling.

But now, thanks to fans, strangers, and former co-stars, there is a renewed network of support rallying behind him.

What happens next is still up to him — but this time, he's not alone.
