Heidi Klum, 52, Shares Promotional Video for Her Upcoming Song, Igniting Buzz
The teaser of a new song has turned the spotlight on the 52-year-old supermodel, but not for the reasons she may have expected. It's not the track that has people talking; it's her barely-there outfit and the risky location that have triggered a flood of online reactions.
Heidi Klum has once again stunned fans, sharing a jaw-dropping short video that briefly previews her upcoming single. But instead of buzz about the music, the attention has zeroed in on the provocative setting and skin-baring look that some say went too far.
A Tease That Set the Internet Ablaze
Although she's best known as a catwalk queen and longtime host of "Project Runway," Klum has stepped into the music world before.
Her latest project, a new song titled "Red Eye," is set to drop in February in collaboration with DJ Diplo. The track will also be featured on the upcoming season of "Germany's Next Topmodel."
To tease the release, Klum posted a three-second video that appears to show a behind-the-scenes moment from a photoshoot tied to the single.
Her choice of styling wasn't shocking to longtime followers, as Klum has always embraced her curves, but this time, she posed topless, wearing only underwear bottoms, knee-high rugged boots, and a heavy floor-length off-white fur coat.
Her hair, streaked with soft blonde highlights, nearly matched the color of her outfit. But it wasn't the coat or the curves that caused the stir.
It was the location.
Klum stood directly in the middle of a train railway. While photoshoots on tracks are not unheard of, they're typically staged on abandoned lines. This one looked very active, judging by the condition of the rails and materials around her.
Comments Pour In as the Clip Gains Millions of Views
The reaction was immediate. On Facebook, many were quick to point out the risk. "Dangerous pl to pose [sic]," one netizen wrote, while another asked, "What you doing there on the rail [sic]?"
Others didn't hold back their criticism of her fashion choice. "That's far from classy," one person posted. Another chimed in sarcastically, "Yes Heidi, your [sic] curvy...."
One Instagrammer bluntly questioned, "Is this really necessary?"
Still, not all the responses were negative. Plenty of fans were eager to praise the star, with one writing, "Looking great!" and others flooding the post with heart emojis and compliments.
And just earlier this month, the model had turned heads with another skimpy ensemble during a beach trip. As previously reported, TMZ snapped Klum walking hand-in-hand with her husband, Tom Kaulitz, 36, along the shoreline. She wore a tiny blue bikini, revealing her toned figure and sun-kissed skin.

The images of the couple prompted a strong online response, with particular attention on Klum. A supporter commented on Instagram, "So refreshing to see non-altered bodies."
Another stated, "healthy weight ❤️," while another said, "So stunning! No filters omg thankful someone is okay with their own natural body. And a supermodel at that ❤️ totally helps women value their real self."

Reactions poured in across platforms. On X, one supporter wrote, "Whoa ‼️ at 52. 👀 👀 Good Lord she looks 👍 👌 [sic]." One commenter highlighted Klum's self-assurance, using emojis and wordplay to suggest she was radiating confidence more than simply enjoying a swim.
In contrast, another offered a more critical take, comparing Klum to fellow model Gisele Bündchen and suggesting she looked older and less suited to the outfit.
Over on Facebook, reactions were mixed. One critic remarked, "There are better-looking bathing suits for her," while another noted, "Inappropriate. Doesn't flatter her older figure." Still, others came to Klum's defense, with one commenter sharing, "She looks great and is having fun, good for her!"
Heidi Klum Shares Her View on Aging
In a candid People interview in July 2025, she opened up about aging, shifting beauty standards, and life in her 50s.
Klum pushed back on the idea that women become irrelevant with age. "Don't hide in your 50s. We only have this one life, so keep living it," she said.

She also admitted that earlier in life, she saw 50 as old, a belief shaped by the fashion world's obsession with youth. That perception has changed. Klum now believes society is becoming more comfortable with aging and more accepting of natural signs like wrinkles and body changes.
She described her beauty as "ever-changing" and welcomed the evolution. In a moment of striking honesty, she shared that she recently found a gray hair in her eyebrow and another on her nipple, calling both normal parts of life.

Klum also spoke openly about cosmetic procedures in the same interview. She said she supports transparency and believes people should make their own choices.
She shared that she's open to trying Botox and pointed to reality TV star Kris Jenner as an example of someone who, in her view, "looks fantastic." Klum added that she isn't ruling out treatments and would consider them if the time feels right.
Looking ahead, Klum said she wants to remain close to her husband, Kaulitz, and her four children. Her focus, she said, is on family, happiness, and enjoying what comes next.
