'Back to the Future' Star Crispin Glover Accused of Assaulting Brit Model
A new lawsuit has been filed against actor Crispin Glover, with a British model accusing him of assault and manipulation during a period when she lived at his Los Angeles home.
According to court documents reported by TMZ, the woman, identified as Jane Doe, alleges the "Back to the Future" star lured her from Europe to California with promises of work and a new life in Hollywood, before an alleged incident in March 2024 in which she claims he grabbed her by the neck and choked her.

Glover, 61, has denied the allegations “in the strongest possible terms” through a representative.
What Are the Allegations?
In the complaint, the woman claims she first connected with Glover through social media in 2015. She alleges he continued messaging her over several years, encouraging her to move to Los Angeles.
The lawsuit states that the pair met in person in Dresden, Germany, in 2023. The woman alleges that during that meeting, Glover showed her items from a collection that included controversial historical memorabilia.

Despite what she describes in the filing as unusual behaviour, she claims she remained in contact because he suggested he could help her secure work in Hollywood. In early 2024, she alleges he offered her the opportunity to live in his Silver Lake home and work as his assistant.
According to the lawsuit, she stopped paying rent on her European flat and sold her belongings before relocating to California. After arriving in Los Angeles, she claims she realised he expected her to be his live-in girlfriend while working for him without pay.
The woman further alleges that she had no support network in the city and became dependent on him. She claims he monitored her movements and attempted to control her interactions with others.

The March 2024 Incident
The central allegation in the lawsuit relates to an incident on March 2, 2024.
The woman claims she told Glover she intended to leave the house to go to a mosque. According to the filing, he warned her she would be locked out if she left. She alleges she did not believe him and left the property.
When she returned, she was unable to enter and was told to find somewhere else to live. The lawsuit states that her belongings and her cats remained inside the home.

When she attempted to re-enter the property to retrieve her cats, Glover attacked her. She claims he grabbed her neck and choked her in a headlock, causing a visible wound and leaving a scar.
The lawsuit further alleges that Glover then contacted police and falsely reported that she was an unlawful intruder.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that officers responded to an assault call at Glover’s Silver Lake residence, but no arrests were made at the time.

They said Glover reported that a man and a woman had assaulted him.
The woman also claims Glover later sought a restraining order against her. She alleges that the legal proceedings damaged her career and reputation.
She further claims he continued contacting her in an effort to initiate a sexual relationship, and states in the filing that she remains homeless and emotionally affected by what she describes as a traumatic experience.

Glover’s Response
In a statement provided to TMZ following publication of the claims, a representative for Glover said, “Mr. Glover denies these baseless allegations in the strongest possible terms.”
The statement went on to claim that Glover was in fact the victim of an unprovoked felony assault at his Los Angeles home on March 2, 2024.
His representative said he contacted the LAPD, who attended the scene, investigated, and arrested Jane Doe, a detail that differs from the account given by law enforcement sources to TMZ.

The rep added that the account is supported by law enforcement records and a restraining order Glover filed against her at the time.
It concluded by saying Glover plans to strongly contest the claims and seek all remedies available to him. The representative added that he believes the court process will ultimately show the lawsuit to be without merit.
Glover is best known for playing George McFly in the 1985 film "Back to the Future."
