Suspect Identified in Rihanna's House Incident – Details
A quiet Los Angeles neighborhood was suddenly jolted by the sound of gunfire, and as authorities piece together the disturbing chain of events, newly surfaced details about the suspect are raising even more troubling questions.
Rihanna's peaceful Sunday afternoon turned into a nightmare, and the identity of the person accused of pulling the trigger is now sending shockwaves through Hollywood.
At first, details were scarce. But as investigators began piecing together what happened outside the singer's Los Angeles mansion, the situation became far more unsettling than anyone expected…

A Quiet Afternoon Turns Into Chaos
According to early reports, the billionaire music superstar was inside her $14 million property when gunfire erupted outside the gate. And the most chilling part? She wasn't alone.
Sources say Rihanna was at home with the three young children she shares with partner A$AP Rocky — RZA, Riot Rose, and Rocki Irish — when the terrifying incident unfolded on March 8, 2026, as reported by TMZ. A$AP Rocky, however, was not at the home at the time.
Authorities later confirmed that multiple rounds were fired toward the property's entrance, sending shockwaves through the quiet neighborhood. Thankfully, despite the frightening circumstances, no one inside the house was injured.
Police say four bullets struck the mansion's front gate, a chilling reminder of how close the situation came to becoming far worse. Investigators soon tracked down the alleged shooter, and the details quickly took a dark turn.
According to the New York Post, police have identified the suspect as 35-year-old Ivanna Ortiz, who allegedly fired at the home using an AR-15-style weapon.
Police confirmed that Ivanna was taken into custody without further incident, and the weapon believed to be used in the attack was recovered. The case is now being investigated by the LAPD Robbery Homicide Division.
Ivanna has been booked on a charge of attempted murder, and her bail has been set at a staggering $10.225 million. Officials also say Ivanna is originally from Florida, and investigators have not publicly confirmed what may have motivated the alleged attack.

A Past That Raises Serious Questions
As more information surfaced, an unsettling picture of the suspect began to emerge. Reports indicate this isn't Ivanna's first brush with the law or her first violent outburst…
According to Page Six, Ivanna was previously arrested in June 2023 after allegedly attacking her ex-husband during a heated confrontation outside her apartment in Orlando, Florida. The argument reportedly began over text messages while the pair were arranging for the ex-husband to drop off their daughter.
In one message cited in the police report, Ivanna allegedly warned him, "You'll be getting socked on the nose tonight." Moments later, she allegedly added, "What's it going to be twin, your calling the shots tonight and I'm throwing punches [sic]."
When the ex-husband arrived at the apartment with their child, he reportedly began filming the interaction on his phone. According to the report, Ivanna allegedly insulted him with a slur before the argument escalated.

The man later told police that as he attempted to leave with their daughter, Ivanna lunged toward him and tried to grab his phone. He said she missed, lunged again, and began throwing punches. All the while, the ex-husband said he repeatedly told Ivanna to stop.
Their commotion prompted a neighbor to come out of their home, and that's when the ex-couple separated and the ex-husband called 911.
The responding officer observed a scratch on the right side of the man's face. Meanwhile, the couple's daughter was reportedly left extremely distressed during the altercation.

The officer noted she was crying so intensely she was hyperventilating and repeatedly said she didn't want anyone to go to jail. Ivanna later claimed that her ex had been provoking her upon his arrival at her residence, and that's when she grabbed his phone.
She also alleged that he struck her with the phone, pushed her to the ground, and grabbed her hair before placing a hand around her neck to subdue her. Ivanna said she defended herself by throwing punches at him.

However, the responding officer concluded that Ivanna appeared to be "the primary aggressor." Three months later, she was arrested for allegedly violating the conditions of her pretrial release associated with that domestic battery case. Records also show she was previously cited for careless driving in 2021.
Disturbing Messages Surface Online
Fast-forward to today, and an even more disturbing layer has emerged: Investigators say Ivanna had posted a number of alarming messages online before the shooting.

One message posted on X less than two weeks before the incident allegedly targeted Rihanna directly:
"@badgirlriri Are you there? Cause I was waiting for your AIDS 5-head self to say something to me directly instead of sneaking around like you talking to me where I'm not at."
Overall, Ivanna is accused of firing about ten shots from a car parked across the street from the home before fleeing the scene. Police later tracked her down and arrested her on the attempted murder charge.
Rihanna Is Now Focused on Safety
In the aftermath of the incident, sources say Rihanna has been left shaken and confused about why her family was targeted, and she is now taking extra precautions to ensure her family's safety.
For Rihanna, the situation is also a grim reminder of past security scares. Back in 2018, a man managed to break into her Hollywood Hills property after jumping a fence.

The intruder — identified as Eduardo Leon — allegedly remained inside the house for nearly 12 hours before being discovered by one of her assistants. Eduardo later pleaded no contest to stalking and received a 10-year stay-away order.
Now, with another frightening incident unfolding years later, fans are once again rallying around the superstar, relieved that this time, everyone inside the house made it out safely.
