Katie Price's Son Harvey 'Smashed' Her Car as She Fears He Might 'End Up Dying'

The reality star is dealing with a double dose of drama — a smashed car windshield and fears for her son Harvey's health. Here's what's been going on with the Price family.

One moment, Katie Price was staring at a shattered windshield. The next, she was sounding the alarm over her son's health. And somehow, a perfume bottle was at the center of it all.

On Wednesday, 11 March, Katie posted a video to Snapchat that stopped her followers in their tracks — captioned simply:

"Harvey smashed my car!! 💥"

In the clip, Katie revealed that Harvey, 23, had spent the night with her cameraman, affectionately nicknamed "Bouncy Ben". But when he returned home, something triggered him — and he grabbed his mother's perfume bottle and hurled it straight at her windshield.

The pair stepped outside together to survey the damage. "What have you done?" Katie asked, panning the camera toward her son. Harvey's answer was remarkably matter-of-fact. "Broke it," he said. "Harvey hates bumpy road." It was his explanation — and as far as he was concerned, it was a perfectly reasonable one.

Katie told fans she planned to get a tattoo while a repairman looked at the windshield. But it was what she said next that hit hardest. "I can't even tell him off like a normal child, because he don't understand," she admitted quietly.

She then gently coaxed Harvey into apologizing. "What do you say to mommy?" she asked. "Sorry, mommy, for broken it, I not doing it again," he replied.

Katie managed to find the humor in the chaos. "At least the car will smell nice of perfume," she remarked dryly. "Nightmare Price."

But the laughter didn't last long. Shortly after posting the video, Katie sat down for a new episode of "The Katie Price Show" podcast, where she filled in the full picture after Ben told her what happened.

The 40-year-old mum of five explained that Harvey hadn't wanted to get out of the car — and when frustration got the better of him, he reached for her perfume bottle and smashed it through the windshield.

From there, the conversation turned to something far weightier. Katie opened up about her very real fears for Harvey's health — and the warning she'd been sitting with for years.

"They've already told me years ago that if he don't lose weight, he's prone to a heart attack. I just feel so bad, I'm going to have to do something," she said.

"I'm not slagging the NHS off, but they know he's in the obese category," she explained. "When he sleeps, I worry because he's snoring and wheezing, and then sometimes he holds his breath. He's massive, Soph, he's just getting bigger. He'll end up dying of a heart attack."

Harvey, who was last reported to weigh 30 stone (approximately 188kg), lives with Prader-Willi syndrome — a condition that causes a constant feeling of hunger and a compulsive desire to eat, making weight management exceptionally difficult.

He also lives with septo-optic dysplasia, ADHD, autism, and oppositional defiant disorder. "But something needs to be done; he's just huge, so that's that," Katie added.

Her words struck a nerve with many followers online, some of whom were less than sympathetic.

"Actually try looking after him just a suggestion!!!!!!" one netizen sniped. "She's the one feeding him — she recorded them having chippy food a few days ago, 2 fishcakes and a portion of chips," another said.

"Be with him more, support him instead of putting men before your children," a third urged, while a fourth added, "Put him first instead of yourself and actually take proper care of him."

One commenter went further, writing, "Unfortunately every time I've seen him, she's been giving him cream cakes, chips, and high calorie food. She needs to change his diet dramatically. He has lost weight before when she was with Kris Boyston — he was out with Harvey every day, getting him moving and giving him healthy things to eat. It's so sad cos he's such a sweetheart."

Katie has previously said she was working with doctors to get Harvey prescribed Mounjaro (tirzepatide) — an antidiabetic medication approved by NICE in 2024 for obesity treatment on the NHS.

She confirmed Harvey had already started weight loss jabs and had lost "a stone and a half," but admitted she was still searching for a private doctor to help move things forward faster, even telling her sister Sophie she planned to turn to Instagram for help.

"It's so sad his quality of life at the moment," Katie said last year. "He just can't really do much. [...] But I love him, and I'm going to help him through this."
