Camilla Parker's family reacts to the news that she is pregnant
An error in a tweet has caused for consternation online, as Camilla Parker Bowles' son responds to a news article that his mother was expecting her third child.
On March 7, 2018, Metro UK tweeted that 'the Duchess of Cornwall is due to give birth to her third child next month.' Tom Parker Bowles responded with 'Dear God. Really?'
As reported by Express UK, the tweet meant to read Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, is due to give birth. The Duchess of Cornwall is Camilla Parker Bowles, married to Prince Charles.
Metro UK has since deleted their tweet, but Tom Parker Bowles saved a screengrab, which he shared to his Twitter account the same day.
The error was also noted by Royal Central, who reported that Twitter users were quick to congratulate Tom. Dom Joly, a comedian, asked Tom if news of the 'impending sibling' was a surprise.
Tom simply replied that Joly was not wrong.
Grant Tucker, a reporter at The Times, tweeted 'proud big brother,' while Joanna Marino said it must have been a shock for Camilla to 'find out she was having a baby.'
Alistair Coleman also congratulated Tom on his 'impending step-brothers,' and suggested that he rather not get Toys R Us vouchers because 'Charles might have trouble trying to spend them.'
The Duchess of Cornwall, 70, tied the knot with 69-year-old Prince Charles 13 years ago, and she has two children with her first husband; Tom, 43, and his 39-year-old sister, Laura Lopes.
The Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with her third child, whose arrival is estimated to fall on St. George's Day on April 23, 2018.
A royal expert added that if 'she's very late, as she was with George's birth,' the baby might even arrive in time for their seventh anniversary on April 29, 2018.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have two children, 4-year-old Prince George and 2-year-old Princess Charlotte. Experts are saying that there is a 4/5 chance that the third baby is a girl, and the names Alice, Mary and Victoria are at the top of their list.
