90-year-old woman poses in hot red bikini. Her photo inspired women all over the world
Everyone should be proud of their bodies, as their all beautiful, and this lovely grandmother proved it gracefully with this outfit.
Irene Carney, from Ballina, New South Wales decided to buy a fabulous two-piece swimsuit and proved no one is "too old" to wear a bikini.
According to Newsner, the 90-year-old grandmother prepared to temporarily leave her nursing home to head off on a holiday with her family.
The family chose to go on a cruise to enjoy the sun and spend time together and Irene was definitely thrilled to go with them.
The Facebook page of a local clothing posted the image of the 90-year-old woman looking wonderful in a bikini on the cruise and immediately went viral.
According to Australian swimwear company Lady Watego's, she came into their store looking for a bathing suit to wear during the family vacation.
Although she didn't want to wear a bikini at first, thinking she was too old for that, her family told her she could totally pull it off and it seems they were right.
"Never too old for a bikini," Lady Watego captioned the photo.
She chose a gorgeous red polka dot Seafolly bikini for her, as the retro high-waist bottoms and underwire bralette fitted her perfectly.
A representative from Lady Watego told Huffington Post about her story, claiming that Irene first purchased a kaftan with her daughter, but a few weeks later she bought the bikini.
"I am always encouraging women to wear a bikini no matter what age or shape, so I loved the idea," the Byron Bay-based shop wrote in a Facebook message to HuffPost Canada Style.
The post, which now has over 1,700 likes and 286 shares, has made Irene an Internet sensation, with many women praising her confidence in different languages.
