Céline Dion cancels concerts due to health condition
The legendary singer is forced to stop working due to a medical problem
Céline Dion, one of the most celebrated and successful singers of all times is facing a health problem that threatens to put her astonishing career on pause, revealed E!Online.com on the 21st of March 2018.
Dion announced that she will be canceling her Las Vegas shows at Caesar's Palace in March and April in order to undergo a surgical procedure, and recovery
Dion was diagnosed with a middle ear condition known as Patulous Eustachian tube. This causes hearing irregularities and makes it extremely difficult to sing in perfect pitch.
Dion has been managing the problem for the last year with medication, but the condition has worsened.
"My luck hasn't been very good lately… I just can't believe it! I apologize to everyone who planned to travel to Las Vegas to see my show. I know how disappointing this is, and I'm so sorry."

Since the medication is no longer working for her, Dion will be submitted to what doctors describe as a "minimally invasive surgical procedure" to correct the problem.
The singer who broke into music with the massive hit "The Power of Love" will be back at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on May 22, and for the fans who purchased tickets to one of the canceled shows, a refund will be available.
It is the second time this year that Dion has been forced by medical advice to cancel performances. She called off seven concerts because she was suffering from an acute inflammation of the vocal chords due to a severe cold.
Dion, 49, has been packing in the crowds in Las Vegas and WOWing concertgoers after a long period of mourning for her beloved husband of 22 years, René Angélil who passed away in 2016. Angélil had discovered Dion as a 12-year-old and had been her constant companion and friend until the two fell in love and married when Dion was 26.
