Kylie Jenner shows off her opulent living room with $25k side table and roaring open fire
The multi-millionaire new mom showcased her flair for luxury with a sneak peek of her lavish living room adorned with expensive decor.
Kylie Jenner clearly knows how to live in style. The 20-year-old recently featured her home’s luxurious living room on her Snapchat and it boasted of exquisite taste and a flair for finer things.
Among the notable pieces in the lavishly adorned room with a roaring open fire was a gold occasional table with drippings of metallic bulges. It hung below a round mirror. Known as the ‘Melting Brass Hallway Table,’ the piece by Zhipeng Tan is reportedly worth $25,000.
Kylie’s taste for art was also showcased through the signed Basquiat print that hung above the fireplace. Accordint to the Daily Mail, the artwork known as ‘Hollywood Africans in Front Of the Chinese Theater With Footprints of Movie Stars’ is reportedly one of similar prints from the limited edition 1983 run of 60 which are selling between $50,000 to $75,000.
At the center of the living room lays a glass coffee table with floating pieces of gold leaf adorning it. On top of it, a lone Taschen coffee table book by photographer Bettina Rheims provides a pop of red on the otherwise all-gold piece.
The predominantly white living room with soft white couches and white carpet is part of the $12 million mansion she purchased in October 2016. The 13,200 square foot property where she currently resides with eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms is her latest purchase following a string of property acquisitions since she was 17.
The very first property she owned was a $2.7 million starter home in the same Calabasas community where her sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian live. However, after renovating the home, and moving to Hidden Hills near where her mother resides, she sold the property in July last year for $3.15 million.
Her first Hidden Hills property was purchased in May 2016. The 7,000 square-foot house was worth $6 million at the time but she later decided to sell the property.
That same year in August, she bought her second Hidden Hills mansion which was next to the one she first bought. Purchasing it for $4.5 million, she flipped it for $5.4 million a year later.
With the success of her cosmetics business, Kylie’s current home with the newly renovated living room she shared is worth $12 million. It’s a far cry for her very first pad and clearly more luxurious. However, now that she also welcomed her first child Stormi, she may need to start baby-proofing the elegant home and allow for the occasional spit-ups and clutter that comes with the life of having a child in your home.
With Kylie’s knack for interior design, we’re sure she’ll be able to find a way to keep it stylish and child-friendly at the same time.
