Since celebrities are celebrities, it is usual to see them wearing very expensive clothes – especially when there are cameras around.

Robin Roberts, the co-anchor of Good Morning America, usually chooses not to be like that. In the show’s edition aired on March 27, 2018, she put on a peach lace gown from Eva Mendes’ collection at New York & Company.

Entertainment Daily reported that, despite the fact that she looked ‘a million bucks,’ the number only costs $89.95. DiAndre Tristan, Robert’s stylists, chose matching Jimmy Choo heels and David Yurman jewelry.

Her outfit was so good that she proved that people can look as chic and stylish as her without spending thousands of dollars in expensive clothes, jewelry, or accessories.

In the photo that she uploaded to her Instagram account, she thanked Tristan for making such a wonderful choice for her. Apart from that, she tagged all the designers of every piece of clothing she put on.

As soon as her fans and followers saw that picture, they couldn’t help but comment on it. Stacie A. was one of them as she revealed that Robert’s was her style icon and that her wardrobe was ‘fierce.’

Jennifer Bryant also chimed in and pointed out that the dress was so beautiful that it was one of her personal favorites. She added that Roberts makes everything look perfect.

It was not the first time she wore an Eva Mendes’ number. The 57-year-old woman put on a purple and white striped dressed and Manolo Blahnik heels on March 26, 2018. Yet again, that outfit was chosen by Tristan.

Both of them have a great friendship and she confessed that he made her change the way she used to look at herself and taught her to be comfortable in her own skin when he made her wear a Roland Mouret yellow number to the Oscars years ago.

‘[We] fight daily about clothes, but I like it because he pushes me. Fashion does not scare me anymore – I understand it is a part of what I do and who I am.’
