Kelly Ripa is severely criticized after her husband shares a photo of her in skimpy swimwear

Kelly Ripa’s husband, Mark Consuelos posted a photo of her in a string bikini, calling her ‘sexy,’ but it did not settle well with some people. Matter of fact, they did not mince their words when they body-shamed her for reasons best known to them.

The negative comments were given traction by Fox News when it reported that the trolls came out in full force bashing for Kelly Ripa is wearing a bikini. As Inquisitr reports, most of the trolls felt that Kelly was too old to be parading her body in a string bikini. On comment said;

“Kelly’s gorgeous, but isn’t there a cutoff age where age appropriateness comes into play? Just because you can rock a bikini, doesn’t mean you should.”

It wasn’t just the age that some sad souls had a problem with. Some felt the show host’s “body is nothing to be proud of.” Another even compared her body to that of a boy. “She has the body of a 12 year old boy. Guess ‘sexy’ is a matter of opinion- She is adorable- but…,”

Even with the trolls coming in their numbers, Kelly’s fans came out in her defense, saying there was nothing wrong with the star in a bikini and that people had “no reason to judge.”The winner was perhaps the commenter who noted that “men who tell their wives that they’re too old, need to eat, or has the body of a boy are the ones with “a million insecurities.”

This is not the first time troll for Mark and Kelly. They have been through such negativity before and they always face it head-on. Kelly once told The Wendy Williams Show that she loves to “troll a troll.” When people come at her and her husband, she claps back. In 2008, a troll criticized Mark’s height:

Troll: Too bad he’s short when he tries to look taller. It looks funny. Just be who you are.

Mark: Please tell me how it is I can try to look taller. I’m dying to know.”

Kelly: “He’s tall where it counts, babe.”
