The iconic singer may have proposed to her boyfriend through a special and heartfelt song she penned for him.

Mariah Carey reportedly is very serious with her boyfriend of two years, Bryan Tanaka. She allegedly wrote him a song, seemingly asking his hand in marriage.

Hollywood Life revealed that the song is especially dedicated to Tanaka. Carey first performed the song in front of him and fans are yet to hear the track.

Inquisitr revealed that a few sources claimed Tanaka was emotional after he heard his girlfriend sing.

One thing is clear, according to the reports, the 47-year-old vocal powerhouse is ready to marry her boyfriend.

Another report suggested that Carey is already busy making plans for the wedding. Supposedly, the wedding will take place in Maui, which is the place where Carey and Tanaka first debuted their relationship.

In addition, Carey is already browsing for wedding dresses and going through the list of the potential guests in their wedding.

Reports claimed that she wants to tie the knot with Tanaka in May 2018, which is only shorter than two months from now.

Planning everything in a short amount of time could be tough for the star, which is why some sources had claimed that if time wouldn’t permit it, she would postpone the wedding until Christmas time.

Carey had already been married twice. Her first marriage was with Nick Cannon and followed by Tommy Mottola.

Tanaka would become her third husband if ever they do push through with the wedding.

The unknown informant suggested that Carey is very serious about her plans for the future with Tanaka.
