Learning that a 75-year-old woman was about to go to jail for not mowing her +18-inch-long grass is what turned a group of young children into Good Samaritans.

Gerry Suttle, who owns a land quite big, was issued a notice to go to the court regarding the size of the grass in front of her home. The law set clear that it must be under 18 inches, something that Suttle was unaware.

Shareably reported that, to make things worse for her, she never received the letter from the court, which means that she never showed up in court. Consequently, a warrant for her arrest was issued.

When a group of children heard that story, they knew they had to do something about it, so the woman didn’t visit the jail. Despite the fact they didn’t know her, they got in her land with some mowers and started mowing the area.

Since it was quite large and the temperature was around 90 degrees in the Texas town, they were taking too long to finish their nice gesture.

A couple of neighbors who saw everything from home decided to help the children and got in Suttle’s land with riding mowers. After two hours, everything was looking as good as ever.

When Suttle got out and saw what the community had done for her, she was left speechless. She admitted that she is the kind of person who always has something to say but that day she was genuinely surprised.

From that day on, she admitted her faith in humanity was restored as a group of ‘kids’ decided to do something they didn’t have to for someone they hadn't met before.

Among the children who help the 75-year-old woman, there were Brandon and Blaine Reynolds, who admitted they wouldn’t like to see her mowing her grass or paying a lot of money for it when they could do it for free.

Everything ended up in the best possible way as the warrant was dropped because, after a short investigation, it was revealed that Suttle never received the letters, just as she claimed.
