Country’s biggest stars share an amazing music video, which takes you on a musical journey

Just as people do on their birthdays, those in charge of ceremonies of important awards often take their time to celebrate when they 'turn' a certain amount of years.

That’s what the CMA Awards did in 2016, when they reached their 50th annual ceremony. As a way to honor it, they recruited 30 past CMA Award Winners to perform an epic mashup.

Classic Country Music reported that they chose three songs that are considered among the most important and beloved ones in the history of country music and that fans of all ages would enjoy.

Those are: John Denver’s Take Me Home, Country Roads, Willie Nelson’s On The Road Again, and Dolly Parton’s I Will Always Love You. The selection was very accurate as it has garnered more than 25 million views on YouTube only.

The aspect that captured more attention was all the starts who got together to create such a great song that was titled Forever Country.

They were Vince Gill, Alabama, Charley Pride, Ronnie Milsap, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, Willie Nelson, and Dolly Parton who all sang snippets.

Some modern country’s biggest stars like Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Blake Shelton, and Brad Paisley also were included in the song. Randy Travis made an appearance, although he did not sing.

The video, which was directed by Grammy Award-winning Joseph Kahn, is also considered a ‘visual masterpiece’ as it represents what country music is all about.

If people put together the music, lyrics, artists, and video, it is clear that it is the best way to honor every single form of country music: from classic to traditional to modern.

To make things even better, the director chose the best ending he could as all artists were shown on a field and the camera was making its way towards the back part of the group where Parton was alone singing the last phrase of I Will Always Love You.
