Blake Shelton discovered his dad instincts. Gwen Stefani's three sons are the main reason
The country singer has married twice but has never had a child.
As reported by People, Blake Shelton is madly in love with Gwen Stefani's three sons with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale - Kingston, 11, Zuma, 9, and Apollo, 3.
In a 2017 interview with People, Blake opened up about his relationship with the boys. “For a long time, it was awkward trying to figure out what my place is and in their mind too,” he said.
The God Gave Me You singer added that he discovered a part of himself which he didn't know was in there because of them. "It’s definitely an instinct that kind of kicks in," he explained.
Blake went on to say that the three boys are quite funny and that it's not hard to fall in love with them. The country superstar, who was crowned the 'Sexiest Man Alive' last year, described Gwen's children as "pretty special."
Blake, 41, and Gwen, 48, fell in love while serving as coaches on The Voice. Both of them announced their split from their former spouses a few months earlier.
Blake and fellow country singer, Miranda Lambert, announced their split in July 2015. The former couple didn't have a child. He was first married to Kaynette Gern in November 2003, but they divorced in 2006.
Gwen filed for divorce from British rock musician, Gavin Rossdale, in August 2015.
Blake and Gwen are said to be wanting to expand their family this year. Multiple media outlets have reported that the Hollaback Girl singer is even willing to hire a surrogate mother if she can't get pregnant.
In late September 2017, Blake took Gwen and her children to his hometown in Oklahoma.
Blake, who was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 2014, has been a Warner Music Nashville recording artist for 17 years. He has received positive reviews from musicians and critics since his debut in 2001.
