Melissa McCarthy has reacted to questions on her 75-pound weight loss in a very defensive manner.
According to McCarthy, questions on her keto diet are 'sexist, dumb, and boring'. She pointed out that men never get asked questions about how they keep their legs in shape.
Melissa stunned her fans when she announced her 75-pound weightloss due to the keto diet which she paired with exercise.
While McCarthy has been flaunting her new slimmer body, she wears clothing which she feels like wearing. She chooses to wear things that symbolize her belief that women of all sizes have the right to wear attractive and flattering clothing.
Realizing that most designer clothing only catered to the 'thinner' group of people, she created her own Melissa McCarthy style line. She decided to make her own line given that most manufacturers tend to neglect plus-sized women.
"I think like 72 percent of women are a [size] 14. So I think it's a little insane if you're in this business to tell your biggest selection of clientele that you don't want their business."
Melissa is a great example for women who are brought down by fashion and beauty standards that have been presented by the media. She is an inspiration for women who are in need of boosting up their self-esteems, and need that simple boost to get them to wear whatever it is they feel like wearing.
McCarthy's confidence and perseverance have led her not only to become a fitter version of herself, but has inspired her to change the lives of more women who are in the same situation as her by not only becoming their inspiration, but by becoming someone who provides them with fashionable pieces that are fit for their size.
