Coco Austin slams critics after her hubby is accused of being a distant parent to their child

Is Ice-T a father who does not care much about his daughter with Coco Austin, two-year-old Chanel Nicole?

A recent photo that the web personality posted on social media where the family enjoyed a vacation in the Bahamas spurred rumors and accusations that Ice-T, whose real name is Tracy Lauren Marrow, is distant to his daughter.

But Coco assured fans that the rapper and record producer is actually an amazing father. She posted a photo that showed the complete picture of the original snap, in which she was on a private jet and Chanel snuggled up to Austin, that was filled with criticisms.

The new photo was her way of dispelling the rumors. The 38-year-old model shared the same picture but this time, she showed Ice-T sitting directly beside them reading a magazine.

Along with the photo, she wrote:

“People always ask me where is Ice in my pics…Believe me, he usually is not far from me…We’re a tight family.”

The criticisms first came during this trip to the Bahamas where Coco candidly documented for her 3 million followers to see. In the photos, the three of them posed on an opulent golden throne at a resort and in another image, they stood by an aquarium.

In each photo, Coco is the one holding Chanel and followers perceived it as something to do with Ice-T’s relationship with his daughter. They suggested that because he was not holding the toddler in any of the images, his relationship with the little girl is distant.

One commenter penned:

Coco explained:

“Ice is not fond of taking photos so that’s why there are less photos of them together.”
