It has been known all over the world that Prince Harry holds the Armed Forces close to his heart.

With his wedding just around the corner, almost every headline talks about him and his future wife, former Suits actress, Meghan Markle.

Faith Family America suggested that Prince Harry and Markle’s wedding is going to be the “biggest wedding of the year.”

They will exchange their vows on May 19, 2018, at St. George’s Chapel at the Windsor Castle.

Before the wedding, Prince Harry has been busy performing his royal duties, most of which already involves Markle.

The pair has been making a number of appearances for royal events such as the charity fair in December 2017.

They have also attended the first annual Royal Foundations Forum with Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, this year.

Aside from that, Kensington Palace made a special announcement on April 5, 2018, about Prince Harry regarding one of his royal responsibilities.

The Palace announced that he will become the Patron of “Walk of America,” which is an event hosted by Walking with the Wounded, an organization that supports wounded veterans.

‘Prince Harry is to become Patron of 'Walk Of America', the latest expedition from the armed forces charity 'Walking with the Wounded' and will formally launch the expedition at an event in London on Wednesday, 11 April.’

Kensington Palace, Twitter, April 5, 2018

The charity’s website stated that a group of six wounded veterans, composed of three representatives each from the United States and the United Kingdom, will walk 1,200 miles in 14 weeks from coast to coast in America.

The expedition will begin in June and will end in September 2018.

The funds that will be raised by the big event will go to the veterans, the world’s heroes.

Prince Harry is no stranger to the Armed Forces. He was a part of the military for a number of years. In fact, he was declared as Captain and he had served two tours in Afghanistan.

Recent reports claimed that members of the Armed Forces will be guests at Prince Harry and Markle’s wedding.
