Gwyneth Paltrow organizes the sweetest treat for her son while celebrating his 12th birthday
The actress sure knows how to throw an awesome birthday treat for her kids! She recently organized one for her son Moses.
Moses turned 12 on Sunday and Gwyneth Paltrow took him and some of his friends to Candytopia, which is, according to Daily Mail, a pop-up sugar spectacle and interactive art exhibit in Santa Monica that would have even Willy Wonka flabbergasted.
The place has only been open for four months but is described as a place “where colossal candyfloss constructions meld with a tantalizing taffy twistedness.” It apparently takes around an hour to walk through. The colorful, sweet place opened on March 3 and is going to close on July 4.
The 45-year-old actress shared only a few minutes of Moses having an amazing time at Candytopia when glitter rained down on him. She earlier took to Instagram with a photo of the birthday boy surfing. She sweetly wrote:
“Happy birthday, my son. You are the sweetest, most brilliant young man I’ve ever met. You broke the mold 12 years ago today when you came into the world. #Iwasbornthedayyouwereborn”
Gwyneth also has a daughter (and Moses’ sister), 14-year-old Apple, whom she shares with ex-husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 41. The two met back in October 2002 during a Coldplay gig and they tied the knot over a year later on December 5, 2003, at a hotel in Southern California.
But in March 2014, they revealed their so-called “conscious uncoupling” after being married for 10 years. They got divorced on July 14, 2016, and have remained good friends.
The Goop founder is now engaged to Glee producer Brad Falchuk while Chris is currently dating actress Dakota Johnson.
