Haines explained that her best friend, Erin, has a twin sister, adding that she is also friends with Erin’s twin. Erin’s twin sister recently lost her daughter to cancer.

She wrote, ‘She and her husband Matt exemplified a super human strength I have never witnessed in my life... and welcomed their 2nd baby within 12 hours of Edie's passing.’

Haines shared that Edie was ‘tiny but fierce.’ She went on to say that even though she lived a short life, Edie made lots of people happy.

Haines, a mother of two children, shared the link to the post Edie’s family created on The Leukemia & Lymphoma’s Team In Training website.

The link serves as a channel where people can make donations to the charity.

‘Your donation will help fund treatments that save lives every day; like immunotherapies that use a person's own immune system to kill cancer,’ read a part of the lengthy post.
