Carrie Underwood shows off her face in a new photo five months after terrible injury
It’s been five months since Carrie Underwood suffered a fatal injury that scarred her face but it seems the country singer is back in the spotlight and this time it's with a bang!
AmoMama shares with details of Carrie Underwood’s recovery journey after she suffered a fatal injury, as reported by Inquistr on April 10, 2018.
Carrie Underwood faced a tough time in her life when she fell outside her home and suffered several injuries. The singer was scarred and had to undergo major surgeries that comprised about 40 to 50 stitches on her face and a broken wrist.
But it seems all that is over and the singer is returning to her beautiful self as she shared a picture of her new look after the devastating fall.
The American Idol winner wrote a letter to her fans on her website to update them on her physical progress. The singer said her face is healing pretty nicely and she’s feeling good about it.
Carrie played it safe as she warned fans that she might look a bit different than what they’re used to when they see her again.
She also talked about her wrist saying it was 90% healed and everything would be back to normal in no time.
Although Carrie’s break from work wasn’t an enjoyable process, the singer found something to be grateful for in all of it.
She said:
‘One of the silver linings for me in this healing process is the time I’ve gotten to spend with Mike Fisher and Isaiah Fisher. I’ve been calling it ‘forced relaxation’. Sometimes I think things happen in order to make us slow down. It also means I’ve been home to support my favorite hockey player coming out of retirement! I hope you’re all ready for more silly posts of me at Preds’ playoff games’
Carrie’s progressive health wasn’t the only good news she had to share as she debuted her brand new single titled ‘Cry Pretty’ across her various social media platforms.
She revealed that her single is somewhat autobiographical and hinges on her experience during her recent injuries.
Also, she shared that her sixth studio album would be released this summer.
What a strong comeback for Carrie!
