Did the daughter of the King of Pop deserved to be slammed for sharing an edited photo of her current self with her late dad Michael Jackson?

Paris Jackson seemed to have reunited with his legendary dad, at least through an altered snap. But some people did not like it and found it “creepy.” Hollywood Life gives us a look at the news.

The 20-year-old posted a photo of her modern-day self in between her father, Michael Jackson, and her mother, Debbie Rowe. Most of the fans loved it and had lovely reactions to the picture.

Her mentions were filled with love and support such as “I love this so much. I don’t doubt he’d be so proud of you” and “Michael is smiling watching over you.”

But Tank Girl actress and a friend, 54-year-old Lori Petty, found the image to creepy. She made a comment on the altered image, which is now deleted, and said that it was odd. Paris, however, disagreed and respectfully tweeted back:

“No, I think it’s nice to dream about what it would be like to have parents, and to have it put into something I can see, even if it’s a fan-made edit.”

Lori seemed to have understood and replied, “If you like it, I love it xx.” She also said that she “didn’t mean to be unkind” and that she loved Paris. The model threw it back and replied, “love you too darlin.”

But not everyone could let go of the discourse. A Twitter user, @supmis11 said, “They are her parents. You sound so evil.”

Lori explained her side and wrote:

“I’m not a fake friend. I think [a] photoshop of ME is creepy. I’m of a different generation. I’m sure Paris is accustomed to seeing photoshop of her late father. I’m not. And I apologized.”

Thankfully, the fan also apologized and all is well and back to normal.
