Something similar happened to two Instagram stars, Mariah Coogan, 23, and Helena Lagos, 22, who passed away on April 9, 2018, when the small plane they were flying crashed on a golf course in Phoenix.

According to NTD, Coogan had been sharing some videos about her and the rest of the people on the plane with her followers a couple of moments before the accident took place.

In total, there were six victims Anand Patel, 26, Erik Valiente, 26, James Louis Pedroza, 28, Iris Carolina Rodriguez Garcia, 23, Coogan, and Lagos. Nowadays, the police are investigating the details of the accident.

All of them were on a Piper PA-24 Comanche plane, which crashed shortly after taking off from the Scottsdale Airport. Even though Coogan’s video suggested that Pedroza was flying the plane, authorities revealed that he was not.

Daily Mail reported that Pedroza, who was the plane’s owner, was in the process of obtaining his flying license. While the details of the incident have not been revealed, it is said that it caught fire in the air.

Investigators believe that the aircraft was not built to carry six people, which might have been one of the reasons for the accident. Pedroza, who had been bragging about his new plane, was dating Lagos.

He is a VIP host at The Mirage nightclub in Las Vegas and began learning how to fly in October, after investing with a friend, who is an experienced pilot, in a different, smaller plane.

Coogan was a model and a horse trainer from Santa Fe, California who was eager for adventure and was easy to talk to. She had a free spirit and a fun and loving personality.

All six people involved in the plane crash were known for parting quite a lot. The reason they were going to Las Vegas was to go to a nightclub.
