Will Ferrelle is rushed to the hospital after recent scary car crash
News reaching AmoMama state that 'Elf’ star Will Ferrell was involved in a brutal car accident in Orange County and was rushed to hospital. As Radar reports, the authorities responded hastily.
Will Ferrell was involved in a car crash on Thursday night in Orange County and rushed to hospital immediately. The actor’s SUV flipped over on the I-5 freeway around 11:00 PM and he sustained injury. A CHP Officer exclusively confirmed to radar that they had received a distress call.
“The call came in last night 22:53 that there was, in fact, an accident involving Mr. Farrell on the northbound 5 just south of Alicia Park.”
The report states that Ferrell, 50, wasn’t the only one in the car when it rolled over. He was one of three occupants and the two others were also caught in the madness, one of them being his long-time driver, Mark Thomson. They were all rushed to hospital and not much is known about their condition except that they are stable.
A statement released by his representative said that the actor was doing well and grateful. It also stated that he is "staying close by as his friends are being treated, and has expressed his deep gratitude to the first responders who were immediately at the scene and to the hospital team that took such great care of them.”
It is still unclear to the public what caused the accident as authorities have not been forthcoming with more reports. The SUV was not too badly ruined save for shattered glass. A representative of Ferrell said on Friday morning that the comedian did not suffer serious injuries and that was evident in the way he was chatting on the phone right after the accident.
It was only the day before, on Thursday, that the comedian had been alongside fellow comedian Billy Eichner in San Diego for an event held for the Funny or Die.
Ferrell rose to fame after his humor at SNL became a hit with the comedy audience right before he made a name for himself with roles from Anchorman, Elf, Talladega Nights and Step Brothers.
We wish Ferrell and his friends a quick recovery. Talk to us in comments.
