Hank Baskett reveals he's ‘open to reconciling’ with Kendra Wilkinson amid their recent split
Even though it’s been only about a week since Kendra Wilkinson filed for divorce, her soon-to-be ex-husband is already open for reconciliation.
Hank Baskett talked to TMZ on Friday and claimed that things are not as extreme as they appear to be. AmoMama got the details from Daily Mail.
The former NFL player was asked if there was any chance for reconciliation, he surprisingly replied:
“You always leave the door open for that.”
He was then asked whether it would be his kids or his emotional attachment to Kendra that would motivate any possible reunification. The 35-year-old interesting response was, “I would say both.”
Hank said that right now he and Kendra were just going to “take things day by day.” It looks like though that the single life is making him busy as he explained that he is mostly working. But what made him upset is the public’s perception of Kendra’s apparent partying. He clarified the speculations about her supposed excessive drinking.
“She hasn’t been partying. Kendra doesn’t drink like everybody thinks. She posts a picture of having a drink and everybody wants to say she’s an alcoholic. Kendra’s not like that. I think that’s what irritates me the most.”
Kendra, on the other hand, also seems to be open for a possible reconciliation. When she first announced the divorce in her Instagram story. She said:
“10 years. I did everything I could. It wasn’t good enough. I will always love him. My heart will always remain open for him.”
The couple had been through really tough times in their marriage but weathered them. In 2014, Hank reportedly had an affair with a transgender model while Kendra was eight months pregnant with Alijah.
They later sought for help to overcome their issues on the reality shows Kendra On Top and Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.
