Carrie Underwood shows off figure in spicy dress while performing for the first time after face injury
It has been over six months since Underwood performed live, and so AmoMama is exited to let you know that the country singer is back. As Just Jared reports, the star gave a tantalizing performance at the ACM Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Carrie Underwood not only picked up the award for Vocal Event of the Year for “The Fighter,” but she also got to give the performance of her life at the Academy of Country Music Awards held in Las Vegas this year. She also performed her banger that is receiving lots of love lately, Cry Pretty, to which the crowd gave a long standing ovation.
This was the first time the county star was getting back on stage after her injury last year that left her wrist broken and her face scarred. An insider told People that Underwood was super scared of being back in the limelight as she was afraid of the scar on her face.
“She ended up skipping the red carpet because she didn’t want to be bombarded with questions about the accident. It’s the most shaken anyone has ever seen her … this whole ordeal. She was terrified of people seeing the scars. Her hair and makeup team must’ve been under so much pressure.”
While the singer looked pretty as usual and gave a thrilling performance, fans and critics alike wondered what she was scared about as her scars are hardly visible. She looks just as good as she always has unless makeup concealed her said scar.
These are some of the comments on Twitter;
One Fan: “Am I the only one that didn’t notice a change in Carrie Underwood’s face?”
Another Fan: “I see absolutely nothing wrong with Carrie Underwood’s face. Gorgeous!”
Anyway, we are happy that Underwood is back and can’t wait for more music this year. Maybe an album even?
Meanwhile, can you spot the scar? Let us know in comments.
