Duchess Kate is used to going shopping on her own. Royal expert finally explains the reason

The Duchess of Cambridge was recently spotted doing her own shopping. Photographs of her browsing at Waitrose surfaced on social media.

Pregnant Kate Middleton was photographed placing her purchased items in a shopping trolley by a random shopper in Norfolk.

Another photo also showed Prince William’s wife placing the bags in her Range Rover.

The shopper used a mobile phone to take pictures of the mother-of-two.

Middleton looked casual as she sported a salmon pink coat, black tight jeans, and black boots.

Express suggested that it is unusual for royals to be seen in public doing normal, daily tasks such as shopping.

Usually, the members of the royal family are expected to have somebody else do those tasks for them.

A royal expert offered her insights about Middleton and how much she has changed since she tied the knot with Prince William in 2011.

The expert and managing editor at Daily Break, Kelly Lynch, said to Express that Middleton has always done her own grocery shopping.

In fact, she has maintained a big portion of her “normal” routine since becoming the wife of a member of the British Royal Family.

Lynch shared that even after just a few days since her wedding, Middleton was spotted still doing her own grocery shopping in Wales.

Middleton refuses to succumb to all the perks of being a royal. She still likes to do normal things that she used to do before she was married and officially became part of the Royal Family.

Although, she has since refrained from being seen too often by the paparazzi when she is out and about.

Meanwhile, Lynch acknowledged that it is strange that photos of Middleton shopping in public have surfaced.

She explained that many of the media outlets in Britain have an agreement with the palace that they are not allowed to take candid photos of the Royal Family during private outings.
