On April 15, 2018, Reba McEntire brought back an old dress to perform for her duet. She’d last worn the dress in 1993 to perform the same song according to People.

Prior to the ACM Awards, it was announced that certain artists would pair up for ‘ACM Flashbacks.’ These were meant to celebrate the 25th anniversary of country songs released in 1993.

Reba McEntire was once married to Narvel Blackstock according to Classic Country Music. He happens to be the father of Kelly Clarkson’s husband, Brandon Blackstock.

It came as no surprise when McEntire and Clarkson were paired up to perform together. The two sang McEntire’s iconic duet with Linda Davis, Does He Love You.

It’s actually a song that McEntire and Clarkson have sung together on many occasions. The song is sung from the perspectives of a wife and her husband’s mistress.

“I really liked the red dress from the ’90s.”

In the song both women questioning who their man truly loves. When McEntire and Davis sang the song all those years before, they had performed it at the 1993 CMA Awards.

What made Clarkson and Mc Entire’s performance so memorable was that the older woman wore the same red dress she had worn in 1993. The revealing dress had a turtleneck with flared sleeves and jeweled bodice.

McEntire shared, “It was like seeing an old friend again. When Sandi Spika made that dress for me, I felt like Cinderella.”

She shared that Sandi Spika Borchetta was the one who had designed it. Borchetta had been touring with her and designing her clothes for years.

Despite the dress stealing the show, the country singer’s managed to entertain with their rendition of the famous song.
