Tina Turner makes her first red carpet appearance in 5 years
Fans got to see the the78-year-old legendary artist on the red carpet once again after several years.
Tina Turner walked the red carpet exuding confidence even after her five-year hiatus on April 17, 2018, in London.
She looked stunning in her black pantsuit and silver shoes. It was as if she had never left the scene with the grace and ease she radiated throughout the night.
Turner attended the opening of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical. The production is about her journey from the very beginning up until she reached the peak of her career.
Alongside her was her husband, Erwin Bach. They have been married for almost five years now.
Closer Weekly shared how Turner greatly indulged herself in the making of the musical. Throughout the process, Turner took her fans with her through updates on her social media profiles.
After the show, Turner took the time to speak with reporters, including BBC News.
She said, "It's difficult to see someone else do what we did for 40 years. I'm a perfectionist, so I look a little bit critically. But when I look and see it done so well, I feel proud."
In an exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, Rhonda Graam, Turner’s executive personal assistant and close friend, shared how the star has been doing since her retirement.
Graam, who has worked for Turner since 1964, revealed that Turner is living the good life at present. She said she is happily married and is living comfortably in their lake house in Switzerland.
Turner’s personal assistant suggested that the star no longer has plans for a comeback. Although, she insisted that Turner would have no problems returning in the industry if she wished to do so.
Graam said, "Tina’s happy, and she earned it. She’s very down-to-earth. It’s not like fame ever went to her head.”
