Melissa Peterman shed some light on Reba McEntire's new boyfriend

The country music icon’s co-star shared her thoughts regarding the icon’s new relationship with a non-celebrity.

63-year-old Reba McEntire previously revealed to the public that she has a new boyfriend. His name is Anthony “Skeeter” Lasuzzo and he is 68 years old.

Closer Weekly recently had an exclusive interview with Melissa Peterman, McEntire’s former co-star on Reba. She opened up and talked about her friend’s fresh romance.

Peterman claimed that McEntire looks totally at ease with Lasuzzo and that he seems to adore her very much.

Lasuzzo and McEntire met in 2017 in Jackson Hole Valley in Wyoming. They were on vacation and things sparked from there.

At the time, McEntire was still trying to adjust following her divorce with her former husband, Narvel Blackstock in 2015. They have been married for 26 years.

Lasuzzo is a retired oil executive. It’s safe to say that he has not been indulged in the Hollywood lifestyle before he met McEntire. Although, he did not seem to be bothered by the fame that came with dating a celebrity.

Talking about it, Peterman said, "I don’t think it even causes a stir. He's a confident guy. And when you're hanging with the crazy crew that Reba has, you gotta be a good sport and be able to roll, and he totally does!"

McEntire started her career in 1975. Since then she has been a household name.

Her success is evident not only in the acting industry but in the music scene as well. She has launched albums since the 70’s up until today. Her most recent release is a Gospel album.

As for her new romance, the public will have to wait for any further news such as a possible marriage.

Needless to say, McEntire’s fans are happy for the singer and are willing to support her all throughout.
