Rumer Willis, 29, commanded attention in a plunging gold gown for the Race to Erase MS gala at The Beverly Hilton on Friday night. The daughter of veteran actor Bruce Willis posed on the red carpet with her assets out and a gold clutch in hand. She was joined at the event by several of Hollywood's elite including Victoria Justice, Lance Bass, Randy Jackson, and Camille Grammer.
The event was to mark the 25th anniversary of Race to Erase, an organization that is concerned with the treatment and ultimate cure of multiple sclerosis. Presentations at the sit-down dinner included fashion from Alice and Olivia and a special performance by Elle King. Attendees were encouraged to participate in the silent auction that followed to raise money for the cause. The organization’s founder Nancy Davis mingled freely with the guests, telling them more of what they do and how they can help.
The celebrities at the event brought out their best wardrobe. Victoria Justice was bursting with color in a floral Alice and Olivia halter dress that she paired with orange stilettos. Avril Lavigne was there too looking like a princess in a black long-sleeved gown and plenty of jewelry while Lance Bass brought his best suit out. Jack Osborne brought his sister and daughter to the event and they looked like the sweet family they all are.
Recalling the day she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, Davis said,
“I was told I would never walk again and the most I could look forward to in my life was being able to operate the remote control on my TV set. Today we have 15 FDA-approved treatments on the market.”
The event’s entertainer, rapper Flo Rida said; “I definitely want to take my hat off to everyone who’s joining in the Race to Erase MS.”
