Uplifting Today reported that Duchess Catherine probably had her most difficult pregnancy yet.

The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate, welcomed their third child, a baby boy on April 23, 2018.

The family is ecstatic as both, the baby and the mother, are healthy. However, Kate could be happy it is finally over as it was an incredibly difficult pregnancy for her.

Physically it was very straining because Kate suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum (HG). The condition causes severe nausea, dizziness, and dehydration in expectant mothers.

It can cause them to vomit so much that they become severely dehydrated putting the life and health of the unborn child in danger.

The 36-year-old Royal did suffer from hyperemesis gravidarum even during her first two pregnancies, however, she did not have the additional responsibility of watching two toddlers then.

This time around Kate had to juggle with being a mother to four-year-old Prince George and two-year-old Princess Charlotte and dealing with her symptoms at the same time.

Fans did see Kate make several public appearances for much of her pregnancy. She then decided to follow her doctor’s advice and went on maternity leave for a month before giving birth. She tried to take as much rest as possible in the hopes of keeping her baby healthy.

The parents’ efforts paid off when she gave birth to a healthy baby boy weighing eight pounds and seven ounces.

Prince William seemed to be in an upbeat mood saying that people soon find out the baby’s name. He also joked that he and his wife will have “thrice worry now” referring to the fact that they have three children.

The third baby too was born in the exclusive Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, the same area where William and Kate’s first two children were born.
