Nikki Bella goes ringless during first public appearance since split with John Cena

Fans were heartbroken after John Cena and Nikki Bella surprisingly called off their engagement and broke up entirely. And last Saturday, the newly single Nikki Bella made her first appearance since the split.

The 34-year-old professional wrestler attended the Nirvana Food and Wine Festival in Arizona, where she and her twin sister Brie Bella hosted a rose tasting party in partnership with their own wine line, 'Belle Radici'.

In the photos of the event, Nikki was evidently not wearing the 4.5 carat diamond engagement ring that John had previousl given her.

According to Daily Mail, the event took place almost a week after she and John Cena announced their split.

Their split announcement came in the form of an Instagram post with a statement attached to it.

Over a year ago, Cena proposed to Bella at the 2017 Wrestlemania. Since then, they have been together for six years before announcing their split last April 15th.

While Nikki seems to be in high spirits, it must be a tough week for the couple knowing their destination wedding was scheduled for May 5th, just a few days from now.

Last Wednesday, Brie broke her silence about the split of John and her sister.

It was in response to a news article that claims she was furious with John, and she circled in red a quote that says she wanted 'to kill him'.

"I'd never say this and I'll always love @johncena like a brother. False!! He'll always be family. My heart is hurting for he and my sister. #Truth"
