Sherri Shepherd is pretty in yellow as she proudly celebrates son Jeffrey in a heartwarming vid

- AmoMama has just learned from Instagram that the colour yellow certainly agrees with the American actress and comedian, Sherri Shepherd.

- Just days ago, the 'Everybody Loves Raymond' star celebrated her birthday and more interestingly, she shares the same birthday date with her son, Jeffrey and is so proud of him.

- Sherri took to Instagram to commemorate she and her son's birthday in a very cute video with featured both of them and she captioned it with heart-melting words.

Sherri Shepherd is a 51-year-old American actress, comedian, author and television personality.

She attained mainstream success when she appeared on the sitcoms, 'Suddenly Susan', 'Everybody Loves Raymond' and 'The Jamie Foxx Show'.

Sherri then went on to a role as Ramona Platt on the ABC sitcom 'Less than Perfect' from 2002 to 2006, a role for which she got nominated for a BET Award.

She then climbed higher and became a co-host on 'The View' for seven years and she received multiple Daytime Emmy Award nominations and won one in 2009.

In March 2012, Shepherd participated as a celebrity contestant on the fourteenth season of ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars'.

On the 22nd of April, Sherri's age went up by one and so did the age of her son, Jeffrey.

The duo of mother and son share the same birthday date and Sherri could not contain her happiness and pride as she took to Instagram to celebrate their birthday.

In a selfie video which featured both Sherri and Jeffrey and was taken in a convertible, Sherri told the world it was she and her son's birthday and that Jeffrey who just turned 13 while she kept her age to herself.

Sherri being silent about her age must be a comedian's thing as her age is all over the internet but she did look very beautiful in the yellow polka-dot outfit she wore.

She captioned the post with

'Happy Birthday to my son Jeffrey. He was born on my birthday and he was the best gift ever! Love you Jeffrey #happybirthday #jeffrey #sherrishepherd #april22'
