Reese Witherspoon looks nearly unrecognizable with dark hair in her throwback photo

The actress took us back to a time when she made changes with her hair and while fans may not recognize her right away, she still looked gorgeous.

Reese Witherspoon is known for her signature blonde locks. After all, she wouldn’t be Elle Woods from Legally Blonde if not for it. But she shared a photo on Instagram where she was not blonde.

In the snap, she laid on a couch while holding her brunette hair. Reese wrote in the caption:

“Throwin’ it back to #JuneCarter in my #WalkTheLineDays #TBT”

The 42-year-old was talking about the 2006 film Walk The Line where she played Johnny Cash’s wife, June Carter.

It seemed like many of her fans loved the brunette look on her and remarked how being dark even suits her better. Some other comments included:

The mother-of-three is one busy bee because aside from filming the second season of the HBO hit series, Big Little Lies, she has also four other projects lined up this year.

Reese is also the founder of Draper James, a southern-inspired clothing and home accents brand.

The award-winning actress is married to Jim Toth and they have a five-year-old son named Tennessee. Reese also has a 17-year-old daughter and 13-year-old son Deacon with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
