Martin' actor Tommy Ford's mother sadly dies a year after her son passed away at age 52

Thomas Mikal Ford popularly known as Tommy Ford was born September 5, he was an American actor and comedian.

He was best known for the role he played as Thomas ‘Tommy’ Strawn on the FOX sitcom Martin which originally aired from 1992 to 1997.

He also had a recurring role as Mel Parker in The Parkers from 1999 until 2001 and was also known for his role as Lt. Malcolm Barker in New York Undercover.

Ford died on October 12, 2016, at an Atlanta area hospital after an aneurysm in his abdomen ruptured, he passed away surrounded by his family after they made the difficult decision to take him off life support.

Ford had been married to Gina Sasso from 1997 to 2014, he had two children.

Ford moved from Los Angeles to Kendall, Florida, around 2001 and in 2015 he moved to Atlanta, GA where he lived with his girlfriend Viviane Brazil.

Brazilian native Viviane de Sousa Beattie is an actress, producer, model and founder of her jewelry line Viviane Brazil collections.

Viviane had reportedly taken it hard when she learnt of Ford’s death and had mourned for months.

A year after the death of her son, Nelson Ford passed away and once again Viviane had taken to Instagram to express her grief.

Viviane had posted a picture of late Tommy and his mother who just recently passed away.

She had captioned the post, @viviane_brazil:

‘RIP Nellie. Pls tell Tommy that I miss him everyday! Thank you for everything, you will be greatly missed! #rip #motherson #family #love #tommyford’

In the comments section the model’s fans and followers had showed her love, sympathy and support which reflected in their comments.
