Christina Aguilera shares make-up-free photo with new haircut and she can’t be recognized
The singer liberates herself as she showcases her natural beauty in photos revealing her freckled face while promoting her latest album.
Coinciding with her stage comeback and the release of her latest album, ‘Liberation’, Christina Aguilera is sporting a new look, one that has her stripped of make-up and feeling naturally free.
Shocking the world with her recent transformation since appearing make-up-free on the cover of Paper Magazine the usually heavily made-up star has been sharing post after post of her more natural self, projecting a vibe she’s never done before.
Now 37 years old and back with a new album (her last one, ‘Lotus’ was released in 2012), the singer admitted she’s in a place where she’s all about liberating herself. She told Paper,
“I’m a performer, that’s who I am by nature. But I’m at the place, even musically, where it’s a liberating feeling to be able to strip it all back and appreciate who you are and your raw beauty.”
As a result, her Instagram posts as of late have been all about keeping it natural. People recently reported she posted a series of photos on May 8 showcasing her stripped-down look to promote her very first tour after 10 years. Donning a furry black coat, she sported tousled shoulder-length hair and appeared to have no make-up, revealing a freckled face.
Though she’s been putting a hold on make-up lately, Christina is quick to correct the misconception that she’s done with glamming up for good. In fact, fans can expect her to be all dolled up when she takes the stage for her tour. The star insisted,
“I mean, I’m a girl that likes a beat face, let’s not get it twisted.”
And there you have it. Christina’s latest look is just one of her many reinventions she may soon be moving on from.
