Actor Colton Haynes files for divorce from husband after seven months of marriage
Following the split, Haynes has very specific requests from the court.
TMZ reported that Teen Wolf actor Colton Haynes has officially filed for divorce from his husband of 7 months, Jeff Leatham.
According to the report, the documents submitted to the court mention that Haynes has called for a divorce over irreconcilable differences.
The document also revealed that Haynes had put in a formal request that the court should terminate any form of spousal support for himself and Leatham.
The papers also indicated that Haynes was particular about the condition that each of them pay their individual legal fees without the need for a common settlement or separate provision.
TMZ had earlier reported that the relationship between the two stars had become strained and that they had called it quits.
The suspicion of a possible break-up surfaced when Haynes unfollowed Leatham on social media, and the duo stopped mentioning each other in any of their subsequent posts.
It was also observed that Haynes deleted every photo featuring Leatham from his social media profiles.
While it is unclear why the couple ended their relationship, Haynes was quick to publicly debunk the rumor that Leatham had cheated on him.
The marriage between the two men got rocky just 6 months after their extravagant wedding.
Back in March last year, Leatham had made headlines by arranging for a breath-taking marriage proposal, featuring the legendary Cher herself.
In the beginning, the couple seemed eager about spending the rest of their lives together, and constantly shared happy updates and snippets of their wedding plans.
Days after the larger-than-life marriage proposal, Haynes and Leatham began planning on expanding their family.
The wedding was a star-studded event, with several celebrities from the entertainment business making an appearance.
Haynes and Leatham’s wedding was formally officiated by Kris Jenner at the luxurious Palm Springs resort last October.
