Reese Witherspoon’s son turned three on Sunday, and momma bear brought out the balloons to celebrate his big day. The cheery mother of three posted a photo of her on a blue James Draper holding several balloons and ready to party. Her son, Tennessee, was in the background with his hands raised and seemingly cheering his mother. Over 270, 000 fans liked the post and commented on her cheerful nature. The actor, who is funny and relatable has a massive following on Instagram – 13 million strong - that she talks to every day.
Witherspoon, who has been in the entertainment industry for over two decades, is also a committed mother and wife. She constantly speaks of her struggles on the subject at interviews, but she figured an even better way to honor mothers. Through a new show in collaboration with Hello Magazine, Meet my Mom, the Little Big Lies actress is shining the light on mothers and focusing on the people that sacrifice their happiness for their children. “As a child, it’s sometimes hard to see your mom as an individual with her own life. But Meet My Mom is the chance to get to know the real person behind the mom and find out what really makes her tick.”
The 5-episode, short-form series will air throughout the month of May and feature other celebrities in conversation with their mothers. Model Ashley Graham and her mom Linda will talk about the model’s nude covers, her career and dating a black man. Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon and his mom Kelly will talk about chasing Olympic medals and raising kids while Lilly Singh and her mom Malwinder will discuss the move from India to Canada and the life they found.
Head of Hello Sunshine’s digital media and programming, Charlotte Koh, said each episode was going to be as unique as its guests.
