Meghan Markle's sister claims Harry's bride didn't help dad with money

Meghan Markle’s half-sister has claimed that the star hasn’t helped their father financially. Thomas Markle is said to be broke and living poorly.

Inside Edition shared that Samantha Grant said she and Meghan’s father was deeply in debt. According to the half-sister, he even went as far as asking her for money.

Grant, Meghan’s estranged sister, has called out the star for not helping their father out when it concerns money. The star’s half-sister claimed that her father had asked Meghan for money twice.

Grant, who was not invited to the Royal wedding, shared that the former actress had refused to borrow him money on both occasions. Their father had asked for financial to help him to pay for his wedding expenses.

"I live on a lot less than she does and he really had to chew on his pride to call me and ask me for help," she claimed. Grant shared that she and Meghan had never had any bad-blood between them.

Nor have they ever been jealous of the star. Grant stated that, instead, they were quite supportive and excited for her upcoming wedding.

"He was very clear with her about the fact that he needed some help and by his report, twice, she flatly refused"

The soon-to-be Royal’s half-sister clarified that they had never tried to milk Meghan for money. However, Grant felt that it was the honorable thing to help one's father in return for everything that he had done for you.

Thomas was recently spotted making a pit stop at a 7-Eleven as he’s on his way to the Royal wedding. There he purchased Gas-X, a can of Heineken, and a bottle of Yoo-Hoo.

The father of the bride took halting steps as he returned to his beat-up car. Thomas then headed to a budget $70 a night motel.

The gas station was his last stop before crossing the border in San Ysidro, near San Diego. His trip to London began in Rosarito, Mexico, where he lives a reclusive life.

Grant shared that her father still didn't have a plane ticket to fly to London. In the meantime, Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mother, arrived in London this week to help with last-minute wedding preparations.

Meghan’s parents divorced when she was 6 years old and Grant is Thomas' daughter from his first marriage. Grant said it would be interesting for her father to be in the same place for the first time in a long time.
