Weeds would grow in your garden or outdoor space whether you like it or not. They would not let the lovely plants and flowers to live harmoniously.

It's also hard to totally remove them because they have deepened roots, so it would grow again.

According to The Self Sufficient Living, here are the top 10 tips to help you deal with the weeds problem.

1. Baking Soda

Baking soda is the best weed killer as it stops its growth for a long duration. Just sprinkle it in those areas where you believe the weeds normally grow.

2. Bleach

Weeds often penetrate into the walkway cracks. Pour the bleach into these cracks regularly to restrict its growth.

3. Borax

Weeds also grow in the walls, the garden floor cracks and the wall concretes. Sprinkle some borax to remove the weeds. Borax would kill these intruders even before they get the opportunity to penetrate into the soil.

4. Bottles

To safely use the weed chemical, cut a bottle in such a way that it becomes a jar. Then, place it over the weed area and within the capacity of the bottle. This method will make sure you do not harm the plants in the surrounding.

5. Carpet Scraps

Place pine bark mulch on the carpet scraps. This would help in keeping away the weeds from the garden.

6. Salt

Salt is one of the most effective natural weed killer recipes. Just boil 2 cups of water and add one-cup salt to it. Use the solution to eliminate weeds from the cracks.

7. Shower curtains

Spread bark mulch or gravel to make the shower curtains work for you. This would keep the weeds away from the garden area.

8. Spray bottles

Pour the diluted vinegar into spray bottles and use it to eliminate the weeds that come out from the holes.

9. Vinegar

Spray plain vinegar on the root areas of the weeds so that it kills the roots and stop the growth afterward.

10. Vodka

To get the best solution, mix 1-ounce Vodka, add some liquid soap, and mix 2 cups of water into it. Spray the solution to kill the weeds.
