Kelly Clarkson sheds tears, but finale's four singers are set

Kelly Clarkson took it hard when one the contestants from her team was eliminated. The Voice just announced its final four during the most recent episode.

Clarkson shed tears when Kaleb Lee was revealed to be included in the bottom three. He had to ‘sing for survival’ before the public had to vote on who stays and who goes.

The latest episode, which aired on May 15th, had cute the number of contenders into half. Four contenders were eliminated leaving four singers to compete at the finale.

Along with Lee on the bottom three were 35-year-old Pryor Baird from Team Blake and 18-year-old Britton Buchanan from Team Alicia.

To save their spot in the competition, Lee sang Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Buchanan with Calum Scott’s Dancing On My Own, and Baird opted for Allman Brothers Band’s Soulshine.

Even though Clarkson became emotional, it was not enough to make the public vote for Lee. Buchanan received the highest votes and was catapulted to the finals.

The other two who were cut off from the contest were 22-year-old Jackie Foster from Team Alicia and Team Adam Levine’s Rayshun LaMarr, 33.

As for the final four, 26-year-old Spensha Baker and 33-year-old Kyla Jade from Team Blake made it together with 15-year-old Brynn Cartelli from Team Kelly.

Later on, Clarkson tweeted that she was not sad for Lee. She said that it was only the beginning for the talented singer and went on to praise him with his last performance on the show.

Clarkson also thanked the fans who voted for Lee.

The singer also stated that she will be helping Lee to start a country music record. Fans of the budding singer will now have something to look forward to.

It’s not all sad moments for Lee since the show had opened new doors for him in the music industry.

The Voice season 14 will be a two-part finale and will air on Monday and Tuesday next week on NBC.
