Hoda Kotb shows off her 1-year-old daughter in a new Mother's Day photo

The NBC newswoman shared adorable pictures with her one-year-old daughter before she flies to London to cover the royal wedding.

53-year-old Hoda Kotb commemorated Mother's Day by uploading multiple pictures of herself on social media with her one-year-old daughter, Haley Joy, on May 13.

Kotb started her day by uploading a photo of her daughter and her mother, Sameha Kotb, in the morning and joked that the trio had an 'early morning photo shoot.'

Kotb will be joining her co-star Savannah Guthrie as the NBC journalists are scheduled to fly to London, England, to cover the highly-anticipated royal wedding of Prince Harry and former Suits actress Meghan Markle on May 19.

The trio, Kotb, Hayley, and Sameha, seemed to enjoy posing for the photos together in bed on Sunday morning in their pajamas, as reported by Inquisitr.

One of the photos included Kotb's boyfriend of five years, Joel Schiffman, who made breakfast for her on Mother's Day. Another photo captured Kotb in a grey sweater with the word 'Mama' on it as she played with Hayley.

The newsreader posted an image of Hayley playing with Sameha and squeezing her cheeks.

She also shared a heartwarming mom-quote from Kate Hudson alongside the image. It read, “My mom is my life. She is literally the love of my life.”

Kotb had expressed the importance of Mother's Day to her family in an interview with People. She said that the day had a whole new meaning to her since she recently became a mother to Hayley.

For 53 years, Kotb bought flowers for her mother on Mother's Day. This time around, Hayley's addition to the family made the holiday special.

Schiffman and Kotb announced that they adopted Hayley together on February 2017.
