Perry also revealed which Royal wedding dress she had liked the most. The interview with the American Idol judge was done by Entertainment Tonight.

Duchess Meghan, 36, had her wedding to Prince Harry this past weekend and the buzz around the big event is still going. Meghan wore a simple Givenchy gown for her big day.

While many people thought the dress was simple yet elegant, Katy Perry, 33, had a different point of view. She shared during an interview that she thought the Duchess needed 'one more fitting.'

The bride’s gown was a nod to her husband's as she chose a British designer Clare Waight Keller. The designer joined the house of Givenchy last year as its first female artistic director.

The dress featured an open bateau neckline and a triple silk organza underskirt. Meghan wore the gown with the Queen Mary Diamond Bandeau tiara which was made in 1932.

Her 16-foot Cathedral length veil was also a nod to British heritage. It featured a trim of hand-embroidered flowers from each of the 53 counties in the Commonwealth.

“I would have done one more fitting!”

Keller told People that the idea came to her after several conversations with Meghan about what 'story' she wanted to tell through her wedding. ‘The fact that her and Prince Harry will be working a lot in the Commonwealth was something that I thought was really intriguing and could be something built on to be part of the day,' the designer said.

Meghan and Keller decided to represent each of the 53 countries through their flora and fauna. Despite this symbolism, Perry felt Duchess Kate’s dress was the best looking between the two.

Kate’s wedding gown was a Sarah Burton-designed Alexander McQueen dress that she wore in 2011. It was a silk and lace dress that featured a nine-foot-long train and concealed hip padding to give the Duchess an hourglass figure.

“Kate won! I'm sorry! I'm never not going to tell the truth! One more fitting! But I love you!” the singer shared. However, her views on Meghan’s dress didn’t mean she disliked her.

Perry confessed that she didn’t know much about Meghan but that everything she’d heard about her sounded amazing. The singer commended the Duchess for her humanitarian efforts and her proud feminism.
